Came here last weekend with friends and we all were searching for elusive pieces for our apartments. We all left finding our perfect thing, in my case a small entryway cabinet. The owners are welcoming, incredibly knowledgeable, and eager to help anyone just browsing or looking for something specific. The quality for the price here is unmatched.

I was really impressed when I reached out to Lars at 8:30 on a Sunday and received an immediate, thoughtful and helpful response about the sale of my parents mid century modern furnishings. When a company takes care of the people who approach them with a caring attitude I can only imagine how wonderfully they treat their real customers!

Lanoba was recommended to us by an interior designer and we found the perfect dining table here! Lars and the team are extremely helpful. You can tell that they enjoy what they do and put a lot of love into it. There was a great selection of tables, credenzas, dressers, mirrors, lamps and more. The delivery team was excellent as well!

If you’re into Danish Modern this is the place. Unique items you won’t find elsewhere. Located in an industrial loft near the Holland Tunnel it’s easy to get to.

Very nice selection of mid century furniture, with excellent refinishing. Seems like they have a pretty good business going, and I'll admit I am impressed - but would I purchase furniture from here? NoI will start by saying that we are all entitled to opinions, and if you read on this is mine:The prices on a lot of these pieces are at or above those of current/new furniture offerings for pieces originating from both the U.S. and Europe, especially for veneered products. Yes you read that sentence correctly: most of the items here are veneered. Are they high quality hardwood veneers? Yes absolutely. I just say that because I've noted a few reviews which appear to be from people that thought they were purchasing solid hardwood products as well as hearing comments from individual shoppers when I visited the warehouse space. It makes me sad when people think that they're buying solid wood products when in reality they are not. These are basically high-end early mass produced veneered furniture products.You can find a U.S. based furniture maker to construct a solid hardwood table, desk, credenza, or chairs for $1,000-3,000 in this style.The claim that these all come from individual homes seems odd or incorrect (to my eyes). Certain things that I would note include that many of the sets of chairs are for way more chairs than an individual would own. Or the fact that many of the dressers and end tables are identical or near duplicates of each other with nearly identical drawer pulls and joinery, which would lead me to believe that these were batches removed from a commercial facility (hotels/businesses).Of course there are many furniture stores which sell pieces made both on the third world or in China for lower or higher prices; I'm not including those in this comparison because there's really no benchmark for guidance. Are these as good/better? Probably yes.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. I wish I had enough house to buy all the teak furniture in sight at this place. :D. Super friendly people, no question is silly. And they taught us how to care for the furniture. The warehouse is situated VERY CLOSE to the tunnel. It's also close to all the filipino restaurants/bakeries I ALSO LOVE so it was nice buying our furniture and celebrating at the Philippine Bread House. We bought a house and our dining area is quite small so we knew we needed a well-designed, well-made dining table that was universal to all kinds of parties and beautiful to look at. Teak does that. Mid-century modern does that. It was hard to choose which we'd like and once we narrowed it down to the potential one table with chairs, we told them and they held it while we looked around which was so great cause we didn't feel so rushed to buy it cause I KNEW it would've been picked up by someone else if we hadn't claimed our interest. Our table is wide enough to be comfortably used as a work table and can extend up to 8 which is lovely. The chairs are comfortable, it helps you keep from slouching and the table we chose had a more beautiful grain to it than the others which helps in contrast to our hardwood. They even gave us a tote with a tin of danish cookies aka future sewing kit container and mineral oil as a thank you. How dare they be so thoughtful.!I love this place. I'm already scheming to make room somewhere in the house just so I can own another piece. I'm thinking a bookcase or...three. ;)

Absolutely spectacular. Gorgeous like brand new. So sturdy and substantial. So much care and craft in what they do. Their passion shines in keeping alive this timeless and incredibly influential tradition of Danish design. Overall fun experience, too. Love the desk and chair. Will definitely come back again. Can't wait!

Visited Lanoba today and took home a sideboard that they had refinished. It was difficult not to come home with everything! They have gorgeous items at great prices. Refurbished or not, they have curated their collection beautifully. We felt very comfortable shopping around and the entire team was so welcoming! You absolutely should make time to visit. We will be back!

We were in need of a new table and came upon Lanoba right here in our town! Lars and his team have exceptional mid-century Danish furniture, but they are so much more than a furniture store. They are selling history, quality and craftsmanship all at a fair price. From start to finish (pun intended) you will be hard pressed to find better customer service anywhere. You will be thrilled to own anything from Lanoba.

Beautiful antique classic Danish furniture, salvaged and brought back to life by expert hands. Expensive but definitely worth your while.
