My daughter has been at KAHP for just over half a year, and we've had a great experience so far. I've really appreciated having camera access; it's helped me feel confident about the care she's receiving and has really reduced my anxiety! The infant classroom was almost always over-staffed (there were frequently 2 or even 3 workers in the room with 4-5 babies, I think the state-mandated ratio is 1:4), so she got plenty of individual attention, and she developed lovely attachments to her favorite teachers. She recently moved up to the young toddler classroom and the staff were sensitive about helping her through the transition. Now, she is so excited to start her day that she hardly looks back at me when I drop her off! They seem to spend a lot of time outside, maybe 1-2 hours per day, and the children all seem to get along well.

The best place for my son. My sons transition was a little tough at first as he hadn’t been in school and I was anxious because of covid and not being able to enter the classroom but the teachers and directors provided so much reassurance and guidance throughout each day and the teachers were very caring and gave extra TLc to make sure my son settled in smoothly. Within a matter of weeks his settling in process was much improved , from mingling with kids to sleeping during naps. I cannot thank them enough for all they do on a daily basis. My son is progressing so well, his language and communication skills are flourishing and he honestly hasn’t had one day he didn’t want to go to school. The teachers genuinely care and take time to prepare a fun day for the kids and Crete great learning experience for them each day. We love our Poppies teachers!!

Kiddie Academy Hamilton Park is the best of the best when it comes to childcare. Our daughter attended from 4 months to 21 months (sadly we moved out of the area). We never had any doubts about her being completely safe in their care. All of her teachers were compassionate, fun, and gentle with her. Her social and emotional development was amazing to watch because of all the experiences she had there. They keep the kids so busy with fun learning activities - things I never could have done for her from home. The unlimited access to cameras in the classroom helped us feel connected to her throughout the day and helped build trust. The meal plan (included with tuition) was nutritious and the menu was so impressive! I also always admired that all of the teachers get to know all of the kids, even outside of their own classroom - so even if we had never met they always greeted her by name. She loved every teacher she had and we will miss them so much! They are truly amazing!!

Kiddie Academy of Hamilton park is way beyond what I've ever been experiencing in my life in term of school environment.Heaven itself would be a fail in comparison. They are the most beautiful human being you will met : Friendly, smart, compassionate, full of empathy and caring team.I am stunned by their ability to adapt to every child ( also every parent ?) and make the journey a unique and fabulous adventure. We are going back to France and my heart is broken to leave the family I had in that school. If you are looking for the best place with the most safe and loving people ... Really consider KAHP you will not regret the choice.

We’ve been sending our girls here for over a year and are really happy with the quality and diversity of education and communication from teachers! Would definitely recommend!

Our daughter has been going to Kiddie Academy since she was 6 months old (she's now 2), and we have loved our experience there! The teachers, administrators and staff are all so attentive and caring. We feel comfortable knowing that our daughter is in an environment where she is loved and is constantly learning and having fun. We highly recommend KAHP!

HORRIBLE experience with the administration at Kiddie Academy. They do not care about their employees at all (or their kids wellbeing). Employees have been quitting left & right because of how Kiddie Academy treats them. They are understaffed and refuse to hire enough people. Staff have to be afraid to take time off as needed for being sick, etc. because then the school will be out of ratio. One of the lead teachers in the infant classroom is visibly on drugs at work and Kiddie Academy refuses to fire her. My partner worked as a teacher at Kiddie Academy for several months and Joanne & Nicole made her come in even knowing she had contagious bronchitis and would be working with young children. She was pushing herself to please kiddie academy and ended up in the hospital. Kiddie Academy fired her for being 30 mins late one morning after her consistently pushing through being really sick to be there. However, the teacher on drugs still works there. Re-think putting your kids in their care. Obviously don’t care about the kids if they tell a teacher with bronchitis to come in, yet the teacher who’s high and falling asleep reading to the kids is still employeed there. Good luck if your kid is in the infant class.

KA of Hamilton Park is incredible, my son is 3.5 and excited to go everyday. The staff are all so caring and make each and every day special for the children. We definitely made the right choice!

Any institution that has only 5 star ratings is suspect, simply because there is no one place that will be perfect for everybody.Issues include staff turn over, missing/late/inconsistent communications (including vaccination notices and last minute shut down of school), inability to acknowledge fault or apologise and persistently trying to mama he behaviour issues rather than understand the children and help them to grow.First my boy was bitten to the degree that left teeth marks clearly visible on his hand that night, then he was pushed over and his face scratched and bruised....ok, we signed the paperwork to acknowledge it his happened (never given a copy though) and don’t make a big fuss, he was ok and this stuff happens. But then my boy is put on a behaviour ‘watch’ because he bit someone else and was throwing toys. He learnt how to bite like that at school and likely got frustrated as kids were able to do that to him so throwing toys is a very obvious frustration reaction. The director called a meeting with us to 'partner' in addressing behavioural issues. This ended up with them reading from an Internet list of good parenting tips. We aren’t the best parents in the world, but we are not bad either and we are doing our best. This was just an insulting meeting.I was later approached after drop off one day and told by the director herself that my little one’s behaviour had gotten worse since he went away and had come back. (Background here is that he had been away for two weeks, back for two days and had jet lag). No thought was given to the child nor what he was going through, which was a lot of change at that time (and they had changed teachers on him whilst he had been away too).....not one word or thought to his situation at all and no interest in understanding or asking about any of it before she blurted that out to me.I could go on, my little one being scratched, sore bottom from poor wiping, teacher pupil ratios (with problem children in classes) etc., but I want to include some positives too. They are the cheapest school offering food and extended hours in the area. The video system is helpful. Some of the teachers there/were outstanding with the kids and our little one misses them greatly. They were honest, thoughtful and polite. The chef they have now is great and I hope they keep hold of him.

My 2 year old son has been enrolled at the KAHP from the time it started.I am one of those moms that scouted each and every day care in the Jersey City area, but nothing made the cut for us. The ones that were okay had a wait list. My husband and I were really surprised to find a shortage of good day care in a city full of young families. When we hear about KAHM it was brand new. Ever since my initial tour of the school with the chirpy staff I was blown. The director Miss Joanne's brilliant resume makes me confident that my son is in great hands. His class teachers are attentive and caring. They communicate so well with the kids as well as their parents. The kids get taken out to the park not once but twice. If the weather is bad they have an indoor gym and play area where they can run around. They have story time ever so often with Curious George and my son absolutely loves it! The computerized sign in and out with coded entry for each parent or guardian makes us feel secure. My husband and I use the spy cam to watch our son during school hours. This especially helped us a lot during the initial few weeks when he started. The teachers methodically update the mobile app where we get updates about our kids activity, diet, any refills on supplies etc. The food is great, and puts my cooking to shame. They feed him breakfast with fruits, lunch and an evening snack. My son has learned and developed so much, but most of all he loves going to school and seeing his friends and teachers.
