Horrible experience, I went to file with Rosario and she really didn’t explain anything, at the end I decided I didn’t want to do it anymore and she wouldn’t give me my W-2 back, she put it in a canine in the front, and then she basically hid and went back to her office and let the front desk lady to handle the situation. Faith the front desk lady, she really is a sweetheart and her customer service was 10/10. If it wasn’t for her Rosario would’ve kept my W-2s after me telling her I don’t want to file anymore. I’m only leaving the review because faith took action quickly, called the main manger and tried to solve the situation quickly, meanwhile the tax lady was in her office the whole time ignoring me and the situation. So thank you faith ??

I highly recommend "Andy" for your tax preparation service. He is very professional, thorough, and friendly. I can always count on him for accuracy in my filing. Making an appointment is the best option but they accept walk-ins. 5 Stars for Andy! See you next year buddy!

This review is to both recognize the great customer service and the bad. I went into to file my taxes. I was directed to use the app because my was not present. I used the app and it was horrible. I waited 24 hrs before calling anyone about the status of my return. The front desk was super helpful and polite. The tax professionals I dealt with should avoid customer service at all cost. The are dismissive and just boarder line rude. After calling to find out how to fix the issue getting forwarded to different numbers( 6 people talked to ) I finally got a customer representative who had her job nailed ?, between this customer service representative and the front desk person I received great customer service . Front desk Tonya w. Super polite helpful and direct with what she knows and who to forward me too for the answers. Customer sevice rep Krystal fixed everything and answered all questions and possible issues with out me even asking. You need to train everyone like you train Krystal. In 15 to 20mins all issues including things I didn't think about were resolved in that time. For the other 4 people tax Profesionals and customer service reps. They don't deserve to deal with customers. One name I remember is Jeremy from customer service online side. No answers dismissive and of all things hung up on me instead of answering a simple question. The question was very valid as when I called the office back with his solution they had no idea what I was talking about. Soo he doesn't even deserve the job he has. Needless to. The entire customer service was saved by 2 people out of the 6 I talked to. That's not a good customer service positive reaction on your side. I will not use h&r block next year. Sucks seeing as I've been a customer sense I first started working.

The first time we came, the tax preparer wasn't certified in NY so we had to stop halfway through the appointment and reschedule with someone else. At the next appointment, we waited over an hour after our scheduled appointment time to be seen. And the information they pulled up was for another customer with the same last name. All of their private information was on screen for us to see. There were so many errors in what the first preparer had entered and the new preparer was knowledgeable and corrected them, but spoke to us very condescendingly, as if the errors were our fault. They also didn't ask about any deductibles, donations, tax credits, nothing. When we asked to add them, they were annoyed. I think we'll be going back to using turbo tax next year. Additional Note: The tax preparer wore their mask below their chin, coughed into their hand, then continued to handle our paperwork. Come on, we've been in a pandemic for 2yrs now and even if we weren't, that's still gross.

My Tax Specialist was Kim Sampson and she was awesome! I have to mention Ruthie and Fabrisio who were so patient at helping her with any questions and thanks to all three of them for great teamwork! They all were answering phones, assisting with walk in clients, and providing service to their clients. Thank you Kim, Ruthie, and Fabrisio.
