Every time I drive by the old burnt-down Chambord Building on Newark Avenue in Hoboken, I get sad about no longer seeing Dave's Auto Repair and Latin American Auto Body next door. I'm glad I found where y'all relocated to and am looking forward to dropping off my wife's car for routine preventative maintenance shortly. Will also gladly have the body shop quote us on a new paint job.

Thanks again for the awesome body work and paint-job by Gioia Auto Repair and Auto Body. I bought the car 2 and 1/2 years ago, and I really appreciate how they made it look absolutely brand-new again now. Eva and her team are always very polite, professional, and welcoming. I needed the work done faster than usual in advance of a long drive, and they got everything done really well, and right on-time. Note to Hoboken people -- this is the same auto shop that used to be on Observer Highway. They moved to 112 Central Avenue, corner of Jefferson Street, very close to Route 139.

These guys helped me out last year when I crashed during a snow storm. He towed us, gave us an excellent quote on repairs and gave us exceptional customer service. I would definitely recommend them again, amazing family owned business.

Had been coming here for a while with no issue. My car was sideswiped and came in for repairs, paid cash. Immediately after picking up my car i noticed my blind spot light was blinking and asked the son's owner about it. Told me he didn't know why. Turns out that the new mirror was an aftermarket part and didn't have the computer chip to make it work with my vehicle. Only found this out after taking it to another mechanic. Went back to see if the could switch out the mirror and they told me insurance didn't pay for it (remember, I mentioned I paid cash) . Wanted me to pay 500.00 dollars for a switch to an official part.....my vehicle is a 2012..... Told me to deal with the dealership..."The car probably came with an after market part" Excuse. Excuse. "We were trying to help". Excuse. "You never paid for the mirror". Excuse. You give a quote..everything should be included. Everything should work after the repairs... Charged me 3500.00 for a headlight, mirror "repair", and paint that's chipping off. Very nice people. But make sure you watch out for their work, parts used, etc. Sad.

I've known Emilo and the family since i was really young. My father and Emilo have a friendship that goes well over 35 years. I've take all my Cars to Gioia's auto repair they're quick friendly and the prices are affordable but most importantly the body of work they do on all the cars is amazing they really make sure the car comes back looking brand new and for me that's extremely important because nowadays body shops could careless about how the cars come out as long as they get paid but not at Gioia's Emilo makes sure of it. I recently just brought my BMW in for a minor fender bender and i got it back sooner then i was supposed too. And it looks 100% better than it did before the accident, The service and Staff are great they treat you like family.
