“This 99 cent is best the in central ave. The guys that work there are very professional and kind. There was an older woman there who started following me and my family around the store knowing not knowing are regular customers. ( guess she was new cause I never seen her before ) We always shop there for bubble wrap for my business or detergent since our laundromat is right next door from it. But other than that it’s very organized. I like it there. Small but have everything you need”

“PROS: This place is huge and has a lot of inventory. Everything is clean inside and the merch is organized. The staff is friendly and the categories for the items range from home decor, furniture, toys, grocery, home goods, and bric a brac. CONS: This is suppose to be a discount store and there prices are equal with regular retail stores-- except for the furniture OVERALL: As long as you aren't looking for discounted prices you'll find everything you need here.”
“I enjoy going to five below they have novelty items for all ages. This particular five below is now a joy to visit a lot of work has been put in to clean it up. The sales personnel are helpful and friendly keep up the good work.”

“Useful cheap stuff, for years I've been buying kids coloring books, grade specific math or writing material, office supply, crafty items, birthday decor and party supplies, quality chocolate (but check expiration, often it's past date, if not shown, don't buy). Amongst ourselves we call it the "Nothing 99Cents Dream" store but oh well it's great to have! I forgave them for their greediness, everyone tries to make a profit, often un-legally and un-ethically, this store is useful to me.”

“I disregard all the negative reviews this family dollar is under new management and has done a 360 it is clean and the shelves are stocked new freezer and fridge they have new cashiers that are very polite especially Jocelyn she is new I believe she is well trained and very helpful comes out her way to help her customers the store is always neat and clean I have no complaints and I am a regular customer because i’m walking distance to this location on the other hand the family dollar on bergen avenue and communipaw needs is the totally opposite to this store the lines are long but it’s a lot of customers and three cashiers give them a break they are improving little by little”
“Reasonable priced discounted items compared to rite aid and others. It has everything most major chains carry but cheaper or reasonably priced. It has it all from food to clothing apparel. The only negative which isn't much is to make sure the item or items you're buying isn't defected or too damaged since that's something that usually happens with discounted stores since they buy what other major department stores would consider defective but that usually only applies to major brand items.”
“I give this store 4 stars because after shopping at this location for over 5 years and being racially profiled and followed on several occasions in the past, The maturity of New Management and positive attitude of the new workers has changed the quality of service and overall atmosphere of this store. The corporation may have to change the name of the store because prices are slowly increasing on various products. The shelves are always being restocked and the manager is always watching and attentive.”
