Beware of Hidden Fees and Unfair Practices at Blink!!!I joined Blink fitness with the expectation of a simple $20 monthly subscription fee. However, when I tried to cancel my membership after just one month due to personal reasons, I was shocked to discover a cancellation fee of over $100.This hidden fee was not disclosed to me when I signed up, and it feels like a blatant attempt to take advantage of members who wish to end their subscriptions. It's important for consumers to be aware of these practices, as they are not only unfair but also a form of financial exploitation.I believe in fair and transparent business practices, and I find it disappointing that blink chooses to engage in such tactics. It's essential for gyms and businesses in general to be upfront about all fees associated with their services.I strongly urge potential members to carefully review the terms and conditions, especially regarding cancellation fees, before signing up with blink. It's unfortunate that my experience with this gym has been marred by what I consider to be unethical behavior.my advice to anyone considering blink is to be cautious and inquire about all potential fees, especially those related to cancellation, to avoid any unpleasant surprises down the road.

I was in this gym for several years, I left and they continued charging for the membership, now that I made the claim for the money to be returned they simply go around and put obstacles in the way of the refund, I will be forced to file a complaint in court since they are taking money that does not belong to them, a bad experience with their staff, they do not do their job, mediocre staff. I don't recommend this place to anyone at all

I took membership of this gym. at that time, they never explained me any kind of hidden charges.I guess they have really untrained workers also manager itself is not responsible. No one is responsible guy I found in this entire gym. When I canceled my membership they charge more money to cancel.Really really unsatisfied experience.Be aware of hidden charges for new customers!!!TY

Went to blink journal station today (07/31/23) and this was the funkiest gym I have ever been in and I'm not talking about Golds or LA fitness sweat odor. Not even locker room odor I'm talking about grossly to the point I wanted to throw up. There wasn't one sanitizer station and no clips to hold the weights in place. It's super crowed and there isn't crowed control in place. CDC need to come and inspect. This was the worst experience ever and I've been to packed gyms. It's not big enough for that many ppl. Guys squatting 500 lbs with no clips very dangerous. Good luck

The gym itself is okay but, by far, the worst policies of every gym. Canceling a membership is almost impossible, and the help desk barely responds. After all that they charge a huge fee. Don't get sucked into this gym , my predatory schemes.Secondly, any broken equipment takes over a mo th to be fixed.Finally, the washroom is extremely dirty and not cleaned often.

My name is jiovany arroyo, and I am a member of Blink in Journal Square (jersey city Nj)I’m not sure how your maintenance process works for your gym locations, but what’s happening in journal square is negligent, embarrassing, and an insult to the intelligence of all the membersThe amount of machines out of service for longer than a month screams that corporate does not care about the members.Both leg press cable machines are out of service.. one of them is going on 2 months being out of service.The hip adductor has been out of service for more than a month.The leg extension machine ? Also out of service for more than a monthThe oblique twist has been broken for over a monthUpstairs, 1 of the cable pull down stations has been out for over a month.There is also a chest press, shoulder press, and row cable machines , along with the main cable station upstairs ….. there not enough clips and handles supplied for allOf those to be used at the same time…. Why can’t more clips and handles be ordered ?The rope for tricep pull-down is tattered and on the verge of breaking … it’s been like this for months.Why can’t a new one be ordered ?There are 3 lat pull down stations upstairs … only 2 lat pull down barsWhat is going on here ?Management said they cannot do anything unless we complain to corporate.Machines broken for months, not enough basic equipment to operate the machines you’ve provided, and lack of routine maintenanceThese are all things that can be fixed within a week or 2 …. The status of the gym makes me sad because this is occurring because someone doesn’t care.Yet my membership is charged in full despite your facility not providing me with the services I signed up for.What’s going on here ?Sent from my iPhone

I am writing to express my disappointment with Blink Fitness. I have been a member for one year and have been consistently disappointed with the state of the equipment, the cleanliness of the gym, and the lack of maintenance.When I first signed up, I was excited about the variety of equipment and the low price. However, I quickly realized that many of the machines were not working properly. I have reported these issues to the staff on several occasions, but they have not been fixed.The gym is also not very clean. The floors are often dirty, and the equipment is not wiped down after use. This is a health hazard, and it is not conducive to a productive workout.In addition, the staff is not very friendly or helpful. They are often rude and unhelpful, and they do not seem to care about the members.I am very disappointed with Blink Fitness. I would not recommend this gym to anyone.Here are some specific examples of the problems I have experienced:* The treadmills are often out of order.* The weights are not properly racked.* The floors are dirty and sticky.* The bathrooms are not clean.* The staff is rude and unhelpful.I have tried to resolve these issues by contacting the staff, but they have not been responsive. I am now considering cancelling my membership.I would like to see Blink Fitness make some changes to improve the quality of its service. Here are some suggestions:* Fix the broken equipment.* Clean the gym more often.* Train the staff to be more friendly and helpful.If Blink Fitness makes these changes, I would be more likely to renew my membership. However, as it stands, I am very disappointed with the gym and would not recommend it to others.

This review is mainly for this staff lady at night (curly hair)I wish you had the basic manners not to throw a sealed bottle behind my treadmill.When I asked her, ‘Hey did you see my bottle?’Her arrogant and rude reply shows how frustrated she is and I hope you learn some basic ethics to not throw a sealed bottle right behind my treadmill.

If you want your belongings to get stolen, and get no sense of responsibility or help from staff, or manager and be asked to pay to cancel, join this gym. You deserve -1 not even zero. Try another location, you will be glad you did. The choice is yours.

Nothing fancy but it has what’s needed in a gym! Also the fact that it’s the only gym in journal square area, makes it very crowded.Machines are usually occupied between 6-8 PM on weekdays! However if you go during the day it’s better.One thing I really like is the staff! Everyone is super friendly and always welcomes you with a smile. I don’t mind the crowd as far as everyone is nice and cordial.They have some events going on like teachers week and students week etc which are pretty cool.There’s a locker room, showers which are fine!

IF I CAN GIVE THE LOWEST RATING FOR THIS PLACE I WOULD!This location used to be tolerable a few years back, I was a BLINK member before covid. I decided to end my membership due to my work schedule is not working out with the GYM hours.I recently (last month) made a membership for my partner since she loves working out. I am the one who's gonna pay for it, for some reason when my account was made, it return to my original account a few years back.I contacted everybody in BLINK so I can change the name to my partner, because obviously I wont be able to go and she wont be able to go without me either. NO ONE EVER HELPED ME. THEY SEEM NOT TO CARE AND ALL THEY WANTED IS TO TAKE YOUR MONEY.1 day on my day off we went to check the place out and workout. I cannot put to words how FILTHY the place is. The employees are nowhere to be found at the desk or anywhere. Equipment are either broken or very sticky. No sanitizing wipes, AC is terrible, The whole place smells like BODY ODOR and BAD BREATH. I've been to different Gyms that is packed but I never seen or experience anything like this.I made a choice to terminate my membership immediately and try to contact ANYBODY from blink to at least give a valid solution for my inconvenience and for the services they cannot provide after racking dollars on our accounts.MR.BRUNO LIMA reached out to me but unfortunately he's going on circles and telling me the same BS that "WE CARE" and just responding for his gain and company gain. He did NOTHING to solve my problem. Now, I will take that almost $200 as a LOSS. DONT GO HERE, DONT SIGN UP TRUST ME, ITS A WASTE OF MONEY. Very Unprofessional, Rude and FILTHY!

I have been to a lot of Bink gyms and this is the absolute worst. There are only 2 squat racks, which is annoying but manageable. But the gym was a MESS, weights, and dumbells were just all over the place, the rack was literally empty, and you had to walk the whole gym to just find the ones you needed.There were those little sanitary wipes all over the floor, and the place had a weird odor too.Will not be coming back here ever again

Lovely staff! I always see them tending to our needs and trying their best to keep up with the mayhem. The gym could use newer equipment and maybe a limit but Ill give 5 stars because it's the gym for me!

I went here for about a year because price was good. Place was overcrowded and smelled bad all the time, machines would be broken a lot. That’s pretty normal for cheap gyms though. The reason for the bad review is that when I cancelled, they accidentally double charged me the cancellation fee. I called twice on diff days and was told manager was out at lunch, manager is not there, but we will take your info and make sure she reverses the charge today. Didn’t happen and I had to go and stop payment thru my credit card. Pretty annoying.

no one ever at the front seat, gym gets way too crowded and the machines are always broken. Ive been going to this location before it was like this and I loved it. Not sure if there's me management but they need a bigger space or limit the capacity
