Beware! Victor, owner of American Used Cars LLC at 111 Tonnelle Ave, Jersey City, NJ 07306 will scam you. He buys cranky old cars at the auction, then gives them an oil change, spark plugs, and a shiny wax. I almost bought a CRV from him. Price was reasonable. But when I looked underneath the hood, I found out the pistons in cylinder makes loud noise, car is smoking from muffler, there was a hole in the front passenger seat on the corner, the side mirror was cracked, the front bumper was bent. I asked him to fix the hole in the seat, change the side mirror, and fix the noise in the engine. When I asked him for the carfax to see if the car was in an accident, Victor told me sarcastically "if you want carfax buy a new car, why you need a carfax for a used car?" He said "I give 30 days warranty on cars I sell. Really? He rigs the car so it would run not more than 30 days. If the car breaks on day 31, he'd tell you "ITS YOUR CAR NOW, YOU FIX IT". He's off the hook, but you're caught in his used car SCAM. You can't do nothing about it. Of course he won't fix the busted mirror and the hole in the front seat. You buy the car (AS IS). I didn't buy a car from Victor and never will.

This dealership is unlike any other in the market that otherwise thrive on high inventory, reputation or a brand. The owner is welcoming and very accommodating. He let's you take your time during the text drive or when carrying out the preliminary checks. The yard holds a small number of vehicles mostly priced below $10,000 but seems to get a new stock of vehicles often.

The guy Victor appears nice (75 years old). The Toyota Rav 4 was priced a little high for 110,000 miles at $5,000, however the door locks/remote did not work, the new part to fix it costs $500.00. The muffler was rotted out and he did not want to fix it. I forced him to find a used original part in junk yard. My car now needs rotors and brakes, $800.00 additional. He did change the oil and replaced the cracked tail rear light. Buyer beware. He told me "IT'S YOUR CAR NOW, YOU FIX IT! He is a little shady, because he was a mechanic and knows better. Once the car is sold, he always seems to be "busy" at doctors, and disappears after the car is sold. My car is generally good, but i didnt expect to pay 1,500 more. He also is at auto auction and is not really available to deal with problems. Update: Oct 1st. Car tire had a plug in it. I also paid $500.00 for new tires and $200 for allignment. He is a crook

Purchased a used car via a Craigslist ad. After being told the only thing wrong with the vehicle was the axle, the car failed inspection for having a fully rusted frame. I am at a loss for a few thousand dollars because this dealership knowingly sold a vehicle they knew would not pass inspection. A business with no morals.
