My first time here was WAY better. Second time, HORRIBLE. Change the person behind the counter!Trying to put down other local businesses in order to uplift yours is unprofessional, among other words.Saying that you’re high end and “not like bodega” is inappropriate considering that your in a predominantly black and brown area. Those bodegas you’re referring to are other people’s main resource.Oh yeah and just because my fiancé and I had sweats on doesn’t mean we aren’t knowledgeable. The store associate was rude and spoke to us as if we had no knowledge and when we demonstrated we did, he continued to speak to us as if we didn’t. That type of stereotype is unacceptable. Don’t forget to check your biases ESPECIALLY now, welcome to Jersey City, where brown and black people fund your businesses so treat us with some respect!

Don't let the phone book name fool you, A #1 is absolutely "A #1" - !This smoke shop has been around for years. And there's good pizza at the restaurant next door. Double win!Both the owner and the weekend guy are knowledgeable about the products they sell and they really want to see to it that you make the right decision and end up with a product you're happy with, even if it takes more than one visit to commit to something.The prices and selection are comparable to what you'll find online, plus they have their own online store. A #1 will also help you with special orders if they don't stock what you're looking to buy.Great local business!

I used to come here from time to time to buy wraps and this time i bought the wrong kind so i was thinking okay ill just go and exchange it for the other one, but the OWNER refused to exchange because "he couldn't" even though i have done this before in other places is not that big of a deal and the wraps had the same price! I am super unhappy i loved this place! so close to home and great products but he just lost a costumer for something that he could have easily done! and please sir dont answer my review i am posting this so people are aware of how unprofessional this place is.

Well, there's nothing related to a smoke shop and combined with a surly merchant who seemed disturbed that l would assume that a store with this title would apply to the business. Go nextdoor. Nice people.

Came here when my usual order of Kratom (by mail) was stolen. Very helpful and informative staff. I use kratom to help with RLS instead of Tramadol. Worked much better from where I normally order! Will be back!
