The manager on Halloween told me to grab another item and it would be 50% off, when I picked an item I asked if it would count and she said yes. After getting home I realized it wasn't discounted. When I went to return it she got an attitude and told me to pay attention then got loud with me. If you are that miserable at your job that you get nasty with a customer over information YOU provided you should probably work somewhere else. Also, the loudest person isn't always the winner of a dispute clearly she hasn't figured that out yet

I thought long and hard about writing this but I feel the need to speak about this because I would truly hate for any other young lady to go through what I went through. I began working here a couple days before New Year’s Eve ‘22. I had just left my job working at Marshall’s Manhattan, the commute was just getting a bit too much for me plus it was right next to my college and only a few mins away from home. I could never imagine the nightmare I would endure here. The same day I began working another girl also began. She was the only reason I stayed as long as I did. She was honestly an angel and the only co worker I felt I could trust and ask for help when I needed. The other 4 girls that had seniority over us were so nasty to us. Everyday before coming into work I caught panic attacks because of the way I was treated here. They attacked me and took advantage of me in any way that they could. I almost quit on the spot one day when I found out the girl who started working the same day as me had never done the most gruesome tedious task that I was asked to do every single week with no help. This task in particular was to break down and tape all the boxes thrown in the basement from all the new merchandise then after the boxes were taped up in bunches had to be brought up these dangerous steep steps and thrown out. I never received any help except for the one time a new girl was hired and I had to teach her how to do this. Another time that stands out to me was when someone peed in the fitting room and one of the girls was going to clean it up (Joyce) and then the supervisor (Amada) said no tell Sam to do it. I was at a loss for words…Instead of telling us both to work on it I was picked to do all the dirty tasks. I really couldn’t understand the hate these ladies had for me. There were even a couple of occasions where even the customers in the store had noticed how unfairly these women were treating me and they left without buying anything. The manager (Michelle) took advantage of my kindness. I never liked to say no because I wanted to prove to them that I was a good worker and they could rely on me with whatever and yes I had arrived 15 mins late on one occasion but I am human. They liked to use that against me a lot. Aside from the one tardiness I was always very professional and helpful to not only the customers but also my co workers. I let so many things slide in hopes that this would make them change their mind about me. Its a shame because I think aside from my co workers treating me unfairly I truly loved my job, loved interacting and helping the customers, and really enjoyed working in this store with gorgeous clothes and reasonable prices. The final straw was when my angel co worker had quit they hired a new girl and the manager gave this new worker all the hours I had been asking and begging for for months. I was shocked and honestly so heartbroken. In my 9 years of working I have never worked in a place as unprofessional and unhealthy as this place. Not for nothing-if I was such a bad worker to them why didn’t they fire me? Because they didn’t have a reason to. I was a good employee who tried her best and always gave it my all even when I had these women tormenting my life. Im sure it may be hard to get a true picture of what I went through here but I hope that I could at least give you some sort of idea of the most horrific work experience I ever had. There’s a lot more I could say about the workers and their unprofessionalism but the goal is not to bring these women down but bring awareness to this situation. I hope no other girl ever gets treated the way I did and that is why I took action in writing this.

This location is cool. Found good finds. I still rather go to the brooklyn location and I see that there's an even bigger location on bergenline Ave in union, nj. Haven't checked that out yet
