The Jefferson Branch has been terrible since Leslie, a simpleton, took over as manager. I've had accounts here for 46-years until BofA took over Lake Hopatcong. There was an excellent woman named Hara. Leslie let Elliana, a very nasty person, run the branch to the ground. I'll be meeting with the new branch manager today. I haven't set foot in tjis bank for 2-years.

Doesn’t have a notary. No one answered the phone when I called at 10:03. They say they open at 10am. She offered PostNet but as someone who has both Merrill Lynch and BOA accounts. Notary services are something they should be offering for free.

TL:DR - David was awesome, helpful, and insightful. Their network hub and add-on employees, not so much.Since it was lunch time, this branch was pretty busy. I stood in line for around 10 minutes, which in the long run, isn't bad. Folks being helped at desks nearby were getting the usual bank spiels, and others on the line were doing more average things like deposits, cashing checks, etc.David was working solo at the bank teller window, and doing a fantastic job. It was obvious he skipped lunch to help us, but he was bright, helpful, and moving things along smoothly. Another employee emerged from the break area, and tried to help some folks on the line with her tablet device - which was when she discovered their network was down. The other employees nearby (who said it might be because they don't work at this branch, either) were having the same problems, so everyone at the desks had to join the one line for the one bank teller window. Just, yikes. When it was my turn, David got me squared away with the Cashier's Checks I needed quickly, precisely, and kindly. It seemed like he was the only one on home turf there - I wonder what happened to the others who usually work there? In any case, if you go here, ask for David. And don't waste your time going to the desks.

It doesn't get much worse than this place. It doesn't matter if you are putting money in, or taking it out - they have zero interest in helping or working. They would be better off just putting more ATMs there because the people there are not helpful. If you MUST use bank of America go to the one in Roxbury or Denville - this is a really bad location.

Mary was an absolute delight, and a go-getter! She not only helped us with our question, but expedited all the our customers to get them assisted in the most convenient manner! Mary is the real MVP of that branch! Thank you for your help!

By far the worst bank I’ve ever been to. Been a BOA customer for decades and had the unfortunate circumstance to have to go to this branch. While this location is old and rundown the true problem is the staff. The teller’s main goal is to ruin your day. I had to listen for several hours of her interactions with customers. Her immediate response to you is “no” regardless of the question. On multiple occasions I have been to this branch and there were no managers on staff so if your looking for anything more complicated then depositing money go somewhere else. This is from one loyal BOA customers to another, since nothing has changed, GO TO ANOTHER BRANCH AVOID THIS LOCATION.

Ugh doesn't open until 10am. Then you have to wait for over 30 minutes to see service person because they have to set up!!? Or they are late coming to work... not at all concerned about the needs of their customers, very disappointed with their new hours and lack of customer service. They need to much much better...I wish I could give them no stars.

Worst bank service ever. My wife is on maternity leave and went to the teller to take money out of the maternity leave account that is issued on a Bank of America card. They told her to go to her own bank (Chase Bank) to withdraw the money, and refused to allow her to withdraw the money from a State Issued Bank of America Bank Card. We are literally using their account and their card at their location, and they tell us to go to the bank we use for our personal banking which is 20 mins away from here. This is why I’m glad we closed our personal Bank of America Account years ago and went with Chase Bank. Chase knows how to treat their customers and clients, unlike Bank of America. Took partial money out of the Bank of America ATM since the teller refused service.

I would have given this review a negative star, had one been available. The branch manger in this location has the worst customer service attitude, than I have ever experienced in my entire life of banking.....There is no debating this fact!Alas, a relatively quick drive to the Denville branch will provide the service one should expect from a customer service business....That branch manager gets six stars if it existed.
