Several of the sale items I went in to purchase weren't on the shelves. Was told they didn't have the help to empty the trucks .

If I could give "0" I would. I used to go out of my way to shop here from Freehold. Now, just like the Freehold store, poor stocking, items I look for aren't there, I wouldn't feed my cat the quality of meat I've found here. VERY cluttered... Not everyone likes a cramped and cluttered store. Really, this can't have 2 carts pass side by side in the main aisle across the FRONT of the store.

I always do online shopping and pick up my groceries at the Jackson store. I always use the ShopRite app to tell the store I’m on my way, and then tell them I’m here, and let them know what spot I’m waiting in. They never come out with my groceries. Invariably, I have to call the store and speak to someone at the online desk to tell them I’ve been waiting a long time, one hour! They always say they didn’t receive my text through the app. The software for the app needs to be updated!

The self checkout is ridiculous. The minute anything touches the scale it triggers for assistance when the cashiers just stand there looking at you. Then they come over to you don’t say a word and just continue to tell you what you did wrong. The company has to realize the whole world is not stealing and they need to hire more pleasant people

The self checkout sucks they need to bring back the old self checkout Walmart u can check out as many items as u want and no one standing over u but u can only have 20 or less is horrible because they have only 3 lanes open and u can be standing in line for 20 mins or more and as a mom I like to get in and out and I was able to bag my stuff and take my time not be rushed bye the cashier I’m also a instacart shopper and I use to go to self checkout now I have to stand in line and cashier and customer are getting mad because I have 2 different people I shop for when I use to do the self checkout and take my time… not everyone in this world steels when dose every one have to get the blame just get a better camera and if something miss it will pin someone to come over not the weigh bace plzzz bring back the self checkout u use to have

I went to inquire for a certain medication which was over the counter type med but wanted a professional to helpMe. most people ask the pharmacy? Right? I ask both women at the counter and the their both reply’s were,”isn’t there someone in the isle that can help you?”I felt like saying aren’t you the people that have most knowledge? I did not.I think I’ll take the extra mile up the street in Jackson Nj where prices are cheaper and people are nicer

I only shop shoprite and Aldi. I find they have the best prices. I especially like the the weekly specials and the variety of items in shoprite. The employees are always very kind and helpful.

I've gone to this ShopRite as a Jackson resident for many years. The products have been great and the prices unbeatable, but today has completely changed my mind. I shopped around and gathered my items in a cart (even helping a fellow customer reach something off the top shelf) before heading to the checkout area. The checkouts manned with cashiers were MINIMALLY 3-4 customers long. I had other time sensitive matters to take care of so I headed to self checkout. There were 4 lanes open and only ONE other customer utilizing this. Once there, I placed my bags and entered my phone number, the employee over seeing the area came over and said "this is 20 items or less, you might want to look over what you have in your cart." No greeting, no questions about my shopping experience. I looked around at the long lines and no one was behind me in self checkout so I continued scanning my items. The weight area went off and a second employee approached and didn't greet me with "let me help you," but instead I go "looks like more than twenty items" and a shake of her head. I once again shrugged off this condescending and rude behavior and finished checking out. As I'm packing my PAID FOR ITEMS into the cart, the initial employee comes over to state I shouldn't have used self checkout because I had 38 items. I pointed out that I literally checked myself out in a timely fashion and there was NO ONE IN LINE for self checkout. I told her she was rude and she kept blubbering about policy. So I had shopping in that store for 45 minutes before and not a SINGLE employee could greet me, but not just one but two female employees can harass me as I checked out my purchase? Stop making YOUR shrinkage problem impact your CUSTOMERS instead of your STAFF. What's the biggest deterrent for theft? Customer service. Maybe if the employees working the floor took the AirPods out of their ears and got off their phones to greet and assist customers, you wouldn't need multiple employees harassing customers at self checkout who already PAID for their items. Disgusting.

Not sure I understand your idiotic reasoning! Not to long ago I could keep things in my cart while scanning(on average maybe 15 items). Not any more but instead of one employee at self checkout you have 5???? I would think that with that many eyes on me it would be easy for your 5 employees watch me scan my items in the cart! And I definitely don't need a orange paid sticker on everything just because I don't bring my bags in. Utterly ridiculous.
