“My husband and I just moved to the area and are scoping out all the great places to eat (thank you Yelp!) We decided to try Carlo's as our first pizza place since it's closest to our house and got decent reviews here. I was excited to see a Hawaiian pizza on the menu, as it's not common where we used to live. I called in my order for pick up, so I could see the place. The man on the phone was nice enough - short, but not rude and I'm sure they were busy. He was much more personable when I got there. The place seemed nice, your typical pizza joint. The price was okay. Seemed expensive to me because we used to get a large, one-topping pizza for $10.99 in Baltimore. But Carlo's was the least expensive one we saw around us. The pizza was okay but not amazing. There was a ton of (canned) pineapple and slices of ham but no bacon. Maybe it was the weight of the toppings, but the crust was floppy and a bit soft. Overall, I would say that this was 3.5 stars. I'll round up to 4 because it was better than 3 stars. I'll try this place a few more times, but I'll try some other places in the area too.”
