Friday, November 17th my wife left in tears due to a very rude, abusive and arrogant woman who works there. Granted, it was close to closing time but there was no need to go at my wife who deals with stage 4 cancer the way this woman did. Don't know the name but I have the date and time. Lighten up lady!!!

Great little post office! Within this parking lot, the Island Heights Police Station is on the premises. There is also a Kazibo. I love this little town of Island Heights. It's so beautiful to see the water as a backdrop for the post office. The staff is friendly and eager to assist. There usually isn't a long wait. I've only had to wait in a long line once since living here in the past 5 years. Otherwise, it's no more the 3 people and they are in and out quickly. Today there was a single person besides myself that approached the counter while I was there.

The clerk was helpful in shipping my two ground packages. However, the manager went out of way to be rude. First could not help me because the clerk wasn’t available. Then told me where to stand?? When i asked he for two flat rate boxes she told me they dont have any, order them online. I dont need 10 or 20. When the clerk arrived to ship my packages the manager gave me a flat rate box, couldn’t tell me what size it was. When another customer came in the manager took care of he right away! Unreal

I overlook the rudeness because I am sure the Post Office is a thankless job, but have we learned nothing during the pandemic?! The woman who always works the desk was sucking on a cough drop and had a deep congested cough. She didn't cover her cough once, just coughing all over the place and touching everyone's stuff. Clearly, she is sick. She should be sent home or told to wear a mask.

Hallways are very dirty spider webs hanging off the walls this places hasn't been swept or mopped in months people who pay for boxes shouldn't have deal with this mess. Termites everywhere ACTIVE and mail is sorted here BE CAREFUL those bugs will cost you alot of money if taken back to you home by mail or on your clothes. I can't forget this part the lady with the glasses says she cant wear a mask because of the material so why not wear a face shield the material isn't touching your face and your sorting mail and handling the front desk this isn't following CDC Guidelines.

Asian lady at desk was rude as could be. Just threw my packages in a bin with no care. It’s your job, take pride.

The Island Heights Post Office is definitely one of the best ones around. They do not have long lines, and the employees tend to not have a bad attitude, as is the case at other bigger locations. It's much better than going to the downtown Toms River location. You would even be surprised that it is located right on the bay.

Always amazing service when I go. Sure beats the Toms River office!
