“It's convenient you can need to do ligh shopping, there lines aren't long. I love the fresh sandwich rolls they bring in everyday & also the produce. I just wish there was more options of Sugar Free products, especially since your close to a disabled and elderly housing complex and your super market is convenient for them to shop. I'm a diabetic and I like sweets, so more options of ice creams, breads, baking items. I just wish they lower the prices of the meat at the butcher counter. The only time I can catch something on sale is when I have no anyways keep up the good work, I'll be there this weekend for some Short Ribs of Beef.”

“I seen this grocery store and had to stop ti get fresh Papaya .There are not many grocery stores that have fresh papayas so I came here strictly for this fruit I ended up getting the coconut drinks that areso creamy and delicious also coconut candies made with fresh coconut flakes . I bought a mango and the fruit was si fresh and delicious! I will come back here when I come to Perth Amboy . The young Dominican girl at the register helped me pick out a better ripen papaya fruit . It was so delicious.This store is areal hispanic store with great customer service .Love the fact that the cashier was so helpful .She even suggested a Great Domincan restaurant down the street which was very good. “Overall experience at Raymond Supermarket was phenomenal. I was in a hurry during an extremely busy day and stumbled upon this corner store. The convenience aspect of finding and purchasing what you need is unmatched. The staff is very polite and the establishment is very clean, this includes with the COVID-19 protocols. “Great place to shop to save money. Often times their Aldi store brand is just as good and quality as brand name products for a much lower price. They have great deals on produce as well.
Only thing that makes us a four-star view is I frequently get stuck waiting online for long periods of times because they barely have more than one or two registers open.”
“In the sleepy little town of South River, who knew that you could find a treasure trove of authentic Portuguese restaurants, cafes, and bakeries. Cavaco Supermarket is known in town as the go-to Portuguese deli, grocery, and bakery. The shelves are even stocked with products imported from Portugal. On the front counter, you'll find a variety of fresh baked breads, codfish fritters and turnovers, pastries, as well as of course espresso. In addition, they are a churrasqueria and offer delicious BBQ chicken, served in a giant tray over rice and fries. Their pastries, such as their bola de berlim and pastel de nata I'm not too much of a fan of compared to other spots in town, but their chicken and codfish fritter was delicious and their fries are even fresh cut. Take a look at their various imported goods and merchandise and you'll certainly be surprised!”

“Wonderful customer service. The very nice lady at the cash register was extremely helpful to me. (12/9/23) She treated me with kindness and respect.The store has all the wonderful healthy products I look for.I purchased mint leaves, henna , turmeric powder and lemon Tang.I went back on December 12, 2023 after 6 PM and there was a young guy working the cash register who charged me $3 flat for ginger powder that clearly shows $2.49?I have no idea why he wanted to overcharge me by $.51. So now I will just go elsewhere or avoid him like the plague.”
