They are the WORST Forwarder National Wide...They Cheat and Lie, Angry Yelling Customer Service Specially the Guy ( Vi.+Va...) which you Never understand what He said... Just Yelling) and seems there is Not a Manager in Office Allowing the Staff who Yelling at the Customer..... at the End, I LOST A LOT OF MONEY $$$$ for that shipment.

There seem to be some negative reviews but my experience with Lavinstar was very good. They were very prompt on sending the arrival notice and releasing the freight after receiving payment. Anthony was very helpful and patiently answered my many emails in a timely manner. It was my first import and he helped me get thru it. Nithin and Santhosh also were very helpful.

They are really good in handling the shipment . looks like they become saver for one of my shipments as they get my shipment moving as no one could offer booking and truckers . thumps up for the team

Worst company ever.They sent me the arrival notice 4 WEEKS late! I can’t believe it. My packages were sent to a general order warehouse a day before I even received the arrival notice. Apparently my packages had been sitting there for an entire month before they advised me. I had called them multiple times ahead of time and they said they would let me know when my goods arrived.I now have over $4,000 in additional fees and they don’t take ANY responsibility or care at all about their huge mistake. Do not work with them, Sam, or anyone else involved. I think they worst business people I’ve ever worked with. And they take absolutely no responsibility for how much they messed up. Shame.

I really want give negative 5 starts for this review. beside of over charge on fees. this company is unprofessional orresponilble to their customer. they did not clear the customs on time for this, we will miss the holiday peak season sales, because they did not clear the customs on time, the customs is holding our frieght, and we will need to pay for the demurrage fees to port because of their fault. stay away from this company.

Dear All,Working with Lavinstar is a really bad experience - they are always unresponsive, irresponsible and eminently unprofessional. We ship from China and thought we can't chose a shipping forwarder on the US side, we were wrong - we can! Please do so too before you get literally robbed.We were disappointed many times, but our last shipment was beyond all limits.They kept the load for extra 3 weeks for some reason without any explanation (maybe they were unable to pick up the container from the rail - obviously it was their fault or/and unprofessionalism). At the exact day when the load finally became available at the final destination they sent us another Arrival Notice demanding to pay another charge of $1,299.55 (some "Detention / Demurrage Charges" fee) without any explanations or proof of our liability for this charge. We had to pay ONLY because the time was very limited (if we hadn't picked up the freight within 3 days the warehouse would start charging us for each extra day so we had to receive the freight by any means).Later, after receiving the freight we sent Lavinstar an email asking to answer 3 simple questions:1. Provide a detailed explanation of what these charges are - to whom they were paid and exact amounts?2. Proof of the payments (copy of the documents that these payments were made by Lavinstar).3. Explanation and sufficient proof that we were responsible for these charges (not Lavinstar or someone else whose goods were also in this container).THEY NEVER ANSWERED! We tried calling a few times - they always hang up the phone! We sent another email in about 5 days - NO reply! These guys are crooks and thieves.We started an investigation with our forwarder and asked never to work with these crooks in the future (hopefully for all their clients).Guys, all the reviews here are true, please save your time, energy and money - avoid Lavinstar by any means - sooner or later they will scam and rob you.

Sam was my representative. He was very fast in responding and helpful. Cargo arrived in good condition. Shipment was only delayed two days from initial estimates but this was because of customs. There was a $45 dollar messenger fee that I was not expecting, but everything else was as I thought. They made my shipment painless to receive, I will be using them in the future.

I am still thinking how to accurately describe the horrible experience doing business with Lavinstar America Inc.Reading the previous reviews-all poor-are the same as mine. I found the customer service to be a bother to all 3 people I had the misfortune to deal with. I was given wrong information-hit with unexpected fees-and when I reach for help was told they do not have time to fix the problems they created. This company does not deserve a one star rating. Or any more of my time.

I used this company for freight forwarding from China and it was the worst experience ever. The rep said that they take care of customs clearance and then the shipment arrived and they hadn't filed any documents so I got hit with a bunch of penalties. Wish I had seen all the other negative reviews before booking with them. Stay away!

Poor company bad communication they never answer. Bad service and rude staff.Too many hidden fees. They lost my shipment after 3 month running after them I had to pay many money for chargesI advise everyone not to deal with them.

This is people are scam please. I was charged a release fee which I paid for my shipment before it was released. Getting to the warehouse where I want to pick up my package I was told to pay an additional collective fee which I questioned. I was told that Lavensta America also told the warehouse to charge that additional fee which also goes to them. The warehouse specifically told me that Lavensta is a scam and they do not have good work ethics.

They are by far the worst company ever. Very rude and almost impossible to understand. They overcharge your and hold your shipment hostage. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. Anthony was the person I dealt with and he is the worst ever. Stay far far away. They will ignore your phone calls too
