Very unprofessional. They have you waiting on the phone for hours. I miss Rite aid! Cashiers are nasty. Bought a milk and wanted a refund didn't even leave out the store the cashier told me she couldn't do it I had to wait 10 mins before she called the store manager to give me a refund. Those young girls need to be more trained on how to deal with customers.

The worst phone experience ever. I've called three pharmacy 3 times today never spoken with anyone. Each time I'm placed on hold. The phone rings at which someone picks up the phone and says "Walgreen's please hold". Repeat that scenario three more times. After 30 minutes you're forced to hang up. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS.

I called concerning some passport size pictures I took out there….i was told copies would be emailed to me. Asking the representative on the phone a question and she literally hang the phone up on me….thats very disrespectful. I hope management takes these reviews seriously and train their staff.

I am currently on hold for 20 mins and counting, waiting to speak with someone regarding meds for a client. A woman picked up 7 times telling me please hold. This is ridiculous as this is an urgent matter regarding psychotropic meds. 22 minutes and still on hold. You cannot be that busy to have someone on hold for almost half and hour. THE ABSOLUTE WORST and this is why we have our clients switch from Walgreens to another pharmacy. You will never have my business!

Worst experience ever Irvington Walgreens, located on Grove Street and Springfield Avenue. My Prescription was sent over at 4 o’clock. I called to inquire at 6 o’clock and was backed up come at 7:30. I arrived at 8:30 just to give them more time. When I arrived, the girl at the pharmacy looks in my face and say oh, we don’t have your medication. Look at your phone, Walgreens didn’t Text you? I responded by saying, young lady had I gotten a text from Walgreens telling me you didn’t have my medication, Would I be standing here for a prescription you don’t have? I walked to the front of the store to ask for a manager, The manager told me I need to wait 10 minutes for her to come out of the office. She never came out, I requested her two more times by intercom and still no show. She eventually surfaced for a 500.00 money gram approval. NOT ME! There were over 25 customers in line with one cashier. I was asked to step out of line for her, and lost my place waiting for nothing. There were two black young males playing on their cellphones, instead of helping the one cashier get the line down. The other black young man smirked at the line at went to McDonald’s. A Hispanic girl asked one of the young men to assist getting the line down and he said No, I’m facing. I’m not sure what that meant, but he walked away, leaving one cashier who was clearly overwhelmed. I stopped the Hispanic worker why hadn’t the manager come out? She wasn’t sure what to say either. She herself seem very unhappy, and irritated, but not rude. I advised her not to worry I’ll contact corporate and I ended up getting back in that super long line. This so called “manager” didn’t find my concern important enough to show face. This entire Walgreens’s staff needs to be replaced immediately except the one Hispanic employee and the older black over worked cashier. oh the drive thru was shut down at 730 when the pharmacy closes at 9PM.???♀️

Walgreens overall has by the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I been dealing with them for over 10 years. I have Corporate insurance thru my employer. This location has an extremely unprofessional, disgusting, ghetto female pharmacist who is a disgrace to the pharmacist’s profession. She HUNG the phone up on me AND refuse to supply her name so I could provide corporate with her information. I Did not ask for full name. She refused to provide because she knows her behavior was GHETTO! I won’t stop until corporate removes her from this location. She thinks because she works in a predominantly black area it’s ok to talk and treat people so condescendingly. This time she has mistreated the wrong individual. This ghetto disgusting woman/ person asked me “do I want her name or her to look at my prescription??” She is a loser who is a disgraceful representation of the Walgreens brand.
I went to the location in person to see if she was a unprofessional, rude and tough and she disgustingly was over the phone. As soon as I approached I saw her on her cell phone and not helping customers. She provided her name at this time. Sandrine is the name of this unprofessional Walgreens worker. She doesn’t deserve a title. You don’t hang the phone up on anyone especially a loyal longtime 10 year plus customer!!
She provided details of my personal medical background information loudly by saying what other location of Walgreens I do business with. It’s sad that this is how you get treated in a predominantly black community. Very sad! I’m going to make sure thru different outlets that as many people know how disrespectful and unprofessional this person is and how Walgreens allows people like this to represent their brand. Sandrine does not need to work in the healthcare field with people who are sick or take care of the sick. We already have too much going on to deal with people like this! I have reported my experience to corporate. I encourage everyone to do the same and stop letting these locations team members get away with their horrible mistreatment of people in this community.

I've been using this walgreen to get my prescription for years and its literally the worst. When you call to speak to someone at the pharmacy they'll put you on hold for over thirty minutes and even hang up on you when their to busy to take your call. Also the wait time to to pick up my prescriptions is ridiculous, every time I go there the line is long and I end up waiting over fifteen minutes to get my prescription.

If the owner by any chance reading this review the workers needs training asap the can’t do customer service if I was secret shopper for this store it would be a big fall please help them they don’t know how to communicate with any customer they very rude talking and screaming to you like you are their child

Don't even bother trying to call this place. They will just keep putting you on hold. I even witnessed this when I went to the pharmacy in person and saw them repeatedly putting the phone calls on hold. You try not to stereotype a store based on it's location, but in this instance it's 100% accurate. My doctor told me they submitted my prescription to them THREE TIMES and a couple of days later, there was no record of my prescription even being received. You are much better off going to any other pharmacy, except this one. I don't think I've ever seen a more unprofessional, and rude staff at a pharmacy ever. They should just close this pharmacy because they clearly don't want/can't handle paying customer's business!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PLACE!I had surgery yesterday, we went straight to the pharmacy for my pain meds. We got there around 7pm and they said to come back in an hour, my boyfriend drove me home. He went back in an hour and they said they were closed. He went back this morning, they still didn’t have my meds ready, they said he should come back in an hour! This is madness!! I am changing pharmacies and will never deal with them again!

Very unprofessional, drive thru never open, you go inside for prescription & have to wait a very long time, yesterday I was in line for 20 min with glass all over the floor that no one cared to clean up, anyone could’ve gotten hurt, switching my scripts over immediately

It's terrible, I placed an order online to pick up some photos and when I arrived they didn't have it ready and they told me to wait for it to last more than 30 minutes and they only had half of the order. In the end they told me that they would call me in an hour so I could come to look for it and they didn't call and when I returned everything was the same, they had done nothing and they told me to cancel the order and half of the photos already printed they don't want to give them to me, very bad service!!! They only waste time.

They never want to stock up they got a fresh stock 2 days ago and Kim R refused to give me the right customer service. They are always understaffed and never have anything stocked up on their shelves. They even refuse to check the back for what I needed and told me to go to another Walgreens this is about the 10th time this happened to me. They need a new management team. They never have what you need in the front but they always refuse to get it out of the back. Terrible customer service everyone is lazy and seem to refuse to make excuses on why they can’t do their job

This has to be by far the worse Walgreens I ever had to deal with, have been calling to clarify a patient’s script for the past 2 days with multiple staff keeps saying, please hold but no one comes back, calls are then disconnected .Walgreens please do better.
