“I went to Marlo’s on Halloween to celebrate a friend’s birthday it just so happened to be $2 Tuesday so selected drinks were $2 and $4 which I was pleasantly surprised by. The bartender who name I didn’t get was the best, the drinks were very good. I was expecting something kind of watered down because of the price but that was far from the case. As far as the food I only had an order of catfish nuggets and fries but both were good especially the catfish it was seasoned to perfection lol. Overall I had a great time, I will definitely be returning!”

“My daughter and my now son-in-law were married at the Pleasantdale Chateau on 1/19/2024. To sum up our experience in one word-Perfection! From the moment we arrived until our departure 24 hours later every detail was handled with precision and courtesy by the fabulous Pleasantdale Chateau staff. There was not one thing that was overlooked. From the bridal and groom attendants, Michelle and Jen; to the banquet manager, Bryan; to the captains, Iker, Jonathan, Luis and Tori, and to all the staff who greeted our guests and looked after them during the reception, your service was exceptional. We were so very impressed by your professional and friendly manner. As one guest told me this event was “Perfect white glove service. When I got up to dance I returned to my seat to a refolded napkin and a reorganized place setting. When they delivered dinner they knew exactly what meal went where. That staff was the best trained and most professional catering staff I have ever seen. Captains constantly on the floor overseeing and communicating. Really flawless service in my opinion. A truly well oiled machine. “ So many of our guests sang the praises of the food, staff, the setting and the overall atmosphere. Many claimed it was the best wedding they ever attended. “Indigo art studio was great for our son’s 6th birthday! They took care of everything and were so kind and accommodating. The party was a lot of fun for the kids and the adults. The party space is large and really cool, with a stage and graphics projected on the wall. Highly recommend!”

“My husband and I were hosting a unique event - an afterparty for a movie premiere. We weren’t sure where to get started, and we were so grateful that John and Trish were there to handle everything. They knew just how arrange a perfect mix of dinner/cocktail party to accommodate our large crowd. The food and drinks were phenomenal, and the setting was absolutely perfect. “I recently hosted a baby shower/gender reveal at The Women’s Club of Glen Ridge and I’m so happy with our choice of venue. Elizabeth was so accommodating and open to all of my ideas for the event. She was always available and helpful from the day we toured until the day of the event. We were able to set up the day before because the venue was not hosting anything the day before my event. It doesn’t get better than that. When we went to set up is when I met Luis. He is marvelous. He was like 10 people in 1. Whatever we needed he made it happen. And what he didn’t have he found a way to get it. I can’t wait to book here again and work with these wonderful people and their beautiful venue. Luis is truly an angel and made our day perfect.”

“Had an amazing time yesterday for my mom's 60th birthday at Zenith Events. I almost gave up looking for a small venue to do my mom's little surprise dinner party. It was only 20 of us and we needed just a small venue nothing too big, but everything was out of my price range. I thank God for Lina and he husband for having such a wonderful venue. Their price was well within my budget and when I went to see the place I knew that it was perfect for the event. I booked it right on the spot. I had great communication with Lina. She answered all my questions and made sure that everything was confirmed the day before the event. She also reached out the day after the event to see how everything went?. I'm very happy and satisfied with the venue and the service! I will certainly go back to them for any future events?”

I'd recommend valet parking for events with sitting guests in the future.Parking: There was plenty of parking. However, they had no valet, and I prefer valet parking.Kid-friendliness: Yes, they were kids friendly. The waitresses were very professional.”

“From the minute we walked in with our reservations are table was ready for us. Everything was fresh and amazing . The crab cake , calamari,and shrimp appetizer were amazing. I had the Lambchops ( which were recommended by the waiter) , they didn't disappoint and were cooked to perfection. The rest of my party had nothing but praises for there dishes and no one brought home any left overs because everything was eaten.Waiter was verygood also but his name escapes me.”

“Our first time at UCPAC's Hamilton Stage was very positive: We saw high-level acting, singing, musicianship and stagecraft (via, Sondheim's "A Little Night Music") that was closer to Broadway than to community theater, at a reasonable price. We sat close up, in an easy, intimate venue, with free parking nearby. We'll be checking out other productions there, for sure.”

“Really enjoyable little nature spot. We tried to go to the New York Chinese Scholar Garden, but I don't think it was open on the day we went. So that was slightly disappointing but it's still a really cool place to walk around and be in nature. Went this past summer and I forgot how cool and vibrant green the grass was! It was a hot July day, but the trees and greenery adds a bit of a cooling sensation. I would recommend (or just giving myself advice) visiting in the spring or fall, for sure.”
