“My daughter and my now son-in-law were married at the Pleasantdale Chateau on 1/19/2024. To sum up our experience in one word-Perfection! From the moment we arrived until our departure 24 hours later every detail was handled with precision and courtesy by the fabulous Pleasantdale Chateau staff. There was not one thing that was overlooked. From the bridal and groom attendants, Michelle and Jen; to the banquet manager, Bryan; to the captains, Iker, Jonathan, Luis and Tori, and to all the staff who greeted our guests and looked after them during the reception, your service was exceptional. We were so very impressed by your professional and friendly manner. As one guest told me this event was “Perfect white glove service. When I got up to dance I returned to my seat to a refolded napkin and a reorganized place setting. When they delivered dinner they knew exactly what meal went where. That staff was the best trained and most professional catering staff I have ever seen. Captains constantly on the floor overseeing and communicating. Really flawless service in my opinion. A truly well oiled machine. “ So many of our guests sang the praises of the food, staff, the setting and the overall atmosphere. Many claimed it was the best wedding they ever attended. We cannot thank Fred, Santiago, Dawn, and the entire staff enough for making our daughter’s wedding a top notch experience. Sincerely, Linda Gilman”

“SOMA backStage Reading Series - New Musical: She Reached For Heaven the actors were great. The play was very good, albeit I would recommend that the beginning be tighten as it was a little slow. The ending also needs a little work.

“My husband and I were hosting a unique event - an afterparty for a movie premiere. We weren’t sure where to get started, and we were so grateful that John and Trish were there to handle everything. They knew just how arrange a perfect mix of dinner/cocktail party to accommodate our large crowd. The food and drinks were phenomenal, and the setting was absolutely perfect. “All of the staff and programs at East Jersey Elite Allstars are incredible. I enrolled my 5-year-old niece in their tumbling program in January, and she has seen significant improvements in her tumbling progress ever since. Coach Michaeleddie, specifically, is amazing at giving instructions and constructive feedback, making the experience fun and challenging for kids. I'm looking forward to continuing our partnership with this gem/gym in Bayonne!”

Although we only sampled two drinks, we can safely recommend Heathermeade (Tree City vodka) based on the high caliber drinks we ordered. We were delighted by the traditional Old Fashioned and by the Cucumber Cranberry vodka.”

“Our first time at UCPAC's Hamilton Stage was very positive: We saw high-level acting, singing, musicianship and stagecraft (via, Sondheim's "A Little Night Music") that was closer to Broadway than to community theater, at a reasonable price. We sat close up, in an easy, intimate venue, with free parking nearby. We'll be checking out other productions there, for sure.”

“I definitely recommend this party room. Very spacious and the place itself is glamorous. The owners are very polite and the staff who serve you are extremely pleasant. I met a sweet and very helpful worker named Reina. She was extremely outgoing and fast. If you are looking for a place with great prices and amazing staff like Reina, then The Roman Palace Banquet Hall should be your choice.”

“We had the beautiful room on the 2nd floor. We received many compliments about the brick walls. The flower wall that the staff set up for us was a big hit. Everything worked out perfectly. I would recommend and use again.”
“Really enjoyable little nature spot. We tried to go to the New York Chinese Scholar Garden, but I don't think it was open on the day we went. So that was slightly disappointing but it's still a really cool place to walk around and be in nature. Went this past summer and I forgot how cool and vibrant green the grass was! It was a hot July day, but the trees and greenery adds a bit of a cooling sensation. I would recommend (or just giving myself advice) visiting in the spring or fall, for sure.”

“In just a few days, the upcoming Lunar New Year brings the Year of the Dragon on February 10th among East and Southeast Asian cultures. It’s fifth in the 12-animal Chinese zodiac cycle and the only animal that’s a mythical creature. This afternoon, my partner and I arrived at the Woodland, located off of Woodland Road in Maplewood, to celebrate Lunar Fest NJ 2024—Maplewood Arts & Culture. Completed in 1930, the Georgian Revival-style mansion and adjoining auditorium have been a hub for Maplewood’s vibrant cultural and civic life for over eight decades. The unique event features lion dance, performances representing Chinese, Mongolian, Thali, and Korean cultures, children's activities, and delicious food trucks, which brought out the crowd.”

“Okay, so we came down from Texas, my bestie, and I to visit our other best friend who was having a birthday party here at Milan Banquets. This place is absolutely gorgeous. The staff was on point? The owner, Magdi A.Griess, is the banquet director. He said he has been at this place since high school or college ? so he invited us to his office and took care of all my bestie needs. Thank You! This place is very warm and inviting and the different room that have plenty of room and decorated lovely this place OMG.? It was definitely one for the books. My friend turned 40 and was fabulous. “We had my wife's 40th birthday party here and had a great time. The has a hip and modern cocktail bar atmosphere perfect for our group of about 25 people but I think the space can easily be comfortable for 50+. The bartender they provided was a great mixologist and super friendly. I would use this spot again!”
