Had a great experience with Main Street Movers. We moved my parents into an assisted living facility and they were so incredibly careful with everything. The bed s were disassembled and reassembled with no damage or creaks and they didn't leave a mark. Have already recommended them to friends. Thank you for a safe and easy move!

Great experience with Main Street Movers. I highly recommend them. We moved from Montvale to Closter and we used them to move all the big and heavy stuff...and I'm so thankful we did. It was nice not having to worry about moving those items so we could focus on all the smaller details that come with moving. It was easy to get a competitive quote from Alex. And on move day, the movers (Carlos, Walter and Angelo) were friendly, professional, efficient and wrapped everything up so nothing broke (including our very large and thin flat screen TV). Thank you guys!

Chris and his team were very professional, quick and efficient. We moved in-state from an apartment to a house and nothing was damaged, there wasn't a scratch on the walls in either place. Main Street Movers sent Alex Della Valle to my house to ensure I received an accurate quote for my move. Based on his assessment, three men and a 26 foot truck arrived on moving day. What should have been a simple two bedroom condo move took two round trips and 12 exhausting and stressful hours. The cost went from the estimated $2,000 to $3,000. I depended on Alex to know that in order to ensure a smooth move in a timely manner at the price he quoted, he needed to send a larger truck and more men.
The three men arrived on time, were hardworking and careful with my belongings. However, during the last few hours, we were all exhausted. In a desperate effort to finish, I had to bring things in myself, and was unable to supervise. This resulted in the second load of boxes in complete disarray and many on the wrong floor of the house. A month later I am still unable to locate important items.
When we called Main Street Movers to discuss it, Alex blamed the incompetence of sending too few men and a wrong size truck on their operations department. He denied low balling the estimate. The owners, Karen Mantzouranis and Tom Mantzouranis, refused to get on the phone at all or take any responsibility for our horrendous move.
Please be forewarned and do not use Main Street movers.

In one word, spectacular ! We had a complex, local, four destination move. Cleaned-out two homes and all was accomplished with zero-defects. All floors were protected, furniture padded and stretch wrapped. Furniture was assembled and positioned perfectly. Thank you Main Street Movers !

Absolutely do not use this company my experience with then was horrible. Without going into detail.They are slow.They will not listen to you or when something is clearly marked fragile.Below is just a sample if there work.

I was relocating to NYC for work and my job booked Main Street Movers to unpack my stuff into my apartment in lower manhattan. They arrived on time and everything seemed totally fine. It was a young group of guys and they seemed nice and casual (I’m definitely not uptight about professionalism or anything like that). But when they asked if I wanted a “full unpack” (to take everything out of the boxes etc) I said yes (because that is what was requested) and they all audibly groaned, which was the first warning sign for me and gave me a lot of anxiety TBHThroughout the whole process they seemed to be either in a total rush (being clumsy with my furniture, stacking things illogically and dropping some of it while putting things together) or just totally slacking off (unpacking super slowly, waiting for another one of their movers to come back from the truck) which was really awkward, because I wasn’t in a rush but it seemed they were. I get that it’s hard to move things into a studio in New York but I was trying my best to help out (unpack boxes with them + put stuff in cabinets / out of the way, even bringing their carts back down in the elevator to the truck, offer them water and snacks, etc) but none of that seemed to helpAnother stressful part was putting my furniture together. For some reason they didn’t have any tools with them (maybe they forgot it in the truck, idk) and they asked to use my toolbox (which I got for $10 at target so I was worried the screwdriver wouldn’t be strong enough to put my stuff together ??♂️). At one point one of the movers literally gave up in putting together one of my tables (just let the legs of the table fall the ground and said out loud “I can’t do this” and walked to the other side of the room). I could understand if something was difficult and they needed help with it (and I was doing my best to help, holding up the table legs while they did the screwing) but to just give up and say they didn’t want to put my furniture together made me very uncomfortable. Later on, another one of the movers did put it together but it was a really stressful environment to be inI guess it was just a bad day for them, IDK. One of them kept saying that they wanted to leave by 4pm so they could make it in time for a soccer game or something in Jersey at 6pm (those exact times might be wrong, this was in March). Not sure how I was supposed to respond to that comment because I didn’t schedule the move ??♂️. I guess the moving company just didn’t time my move well and it stressed out all of their workersOverall, it wasn’t terrible (they scratched some wooden furniture items but nothing too bad) but I definitely wouldn’t describe the experience as positive. Didn’t seem like any of them were happy to be there or wanted to help

As coordinator of Rolling Thunder Nationals Wreaths across America event I have been communicating with Grover Friedman and his crew from main Street movers for the past two years. I learned that they were the trucking company that has been volunteering donating their time and fuel costs for the past 10 years delivering wreaths to the locations that are participating in Wreaths across America day. For this I commend them. With a little communication I can definitely say the two years that I've been a coordinator for Somerset hills Memorial Park cemetery and mausoleum. The delivery could not have been any better. The crew delivering the wreaths we're great . For this I say thank you and I would recommend and call Main Street movers first for any type of moving job. Thank you Grover and your crew.

OJ and crew were the Best movers I have experienced. My wife and I are 67 and have moved several times. They wrapped each piece of furniture with blankets and plastic wrap. Each foot was wrapped and no damage occurred from PA to NJ. I had several glass pieces and nothing was damaged. I would highly recommend these movers at any time.

EXCEPTIONAL!!! I can’t speak highly enough about this company. Every step of the process was white glove service.I hope to not need a mover again for some time, because we know how much fun moving can be. But if I do, Main Street all the way.

We had a very good experience with Main St Movers. They were the only company we contacted that was willing to store our goods on the truck for ten nights to avoid the hassle and expense of moving our goods into storage. We had a last minute issue with our closing and needed to extend another day and they were able to accommodate. The crew was professional and took great care of our belongings. Overall very satisfied.
