Came here a few days ago and they said they only take cash. Left with my packages unshipped. Came back a few days later with cash and they closed a half hour before the were supposed to and told me I had to come back Monday. Avoid at all costs

One thing you can always count on here is you'll have to wait.....and wait. Regardless of how many people are in front of you. They only have one clerk and they could care less how much of your time is spent online. On another note I recently had to have my mail held while I was away. I couldn't do it online so I spoke with the post master. He said he'd take care of it. Well he never did. Fortunately a neighbor so the mail piling up and picked it up for me. I called the PO quite a few times to tell them to hold mail. No one even answered the phone. Had to call the 800 # to file a complaint. It's not like you can go anywhere else.

Forget about EVER calling this Post Office by phone, they NEVER pick up the phone. Be prepared for a long wait on line when going there in person.

Never and I mean never do they deliver packages. Instead of getting out of their truck and walking 15 steps to the porch they says "undeliverable". No notice, nothing...just get an email saying "package can be picked up at post office" It's no wonder the downfall of USPS is coming. When they are all out of jobs it will be their fault. Laziness at its finest.

Trying to call here and the number is for a pharmacy?!?! Call the US post office number and is automated but doesn’t work and just hangs up because the options aren’t all listed. What a horrible system!!

I have never seen so many incompetent people under one roof! The lady at the front desk is the worst one. How does she even have a job. You all know which lady I'm talking about.

I had a certified letter sent to my house 3/25/2020 since no one was home they left a message to go on line and schedule for a redelivery. I attempted two redeliveries and both were unsuccessfu. When I visited the Howell NJ. Post office on Route 9 I was advised they couldn't locate my letter. This is unacceptable and they should be ashamed of themselves. Today is 4/16/2020 I called again about my certified letter and still they can not locate it. I'll never use the Howell post office again.

The post master Angel is an utter disgrace to a Federal Business. She thinks she owns this place because she has worked for the USPS for 26 years. Instead of bragging about your credentials that don't mean s*** to me how about u do ur damn job right and accept Fed Ex packages like ur company says it does !!! Pathetic customer service . AVOID AT ALL COST! Typical lazy disgusting (alien like) postal people work here !! Going to FEDS about this women! Spend over 100k annually with this branch and to get treated like a POS. COMPLAINT FILE OPEN!!

Neighborhood Post Office with good old fashioned customer service!! I remember a time when I was always sending stuff from my neighborhood Post Office in Gardena CA, the crazy post office parking lot soooo tiny, long lines, weighing packages even had a "post office box", lest we should forget tax season lines.....but for it all-- simply being treated like a customer that mattered. Fast forward to 2017-- Although some of that craziness has changed over the years, like my moving clear across the country to NJ, the exceptional service and dependability of the Postal service has not. My now neighborhood Post Office since 2013- provides the same awesome service, answers and help with a smile. Even in long Holidays lines, people deciding on what collectable stamps, how to use the automated stamp /label machine or picking up certified letters to what can ship and what cannot, I have always received top notch customer service. If you have not been to this Post Office you should. The Staff here is especially nice, I was just there yesterday afternoon I wanted to make sure that the box I was re-using to ship some stuff out was acceptable. The Post Lady behind the counter smiled asked how I was doing, how she could help, I explained my question, she checked all the markings, processed the mailing label, gave me my tracking receipt- DONE!!. and wished me a good day and in all of less then 10 minutes, I was on my way. Look, I know people now a days just don't use the Post Office like they used too, most don't use it for letters, they email, they don't mail bills, they pay bills online, or use one of the larger carrier service, but think about how much our Postal Service really moves our packages and letters from one place to another, but in all the years and changes -- they have not lost that personal touch. Anyway- get to know your local Postal office and postal carrier, they are great people and I have always been happy with the service here at the Howell location.
