I visited Ulta to buy powder to go over my foundation. I was helped almost immediately when I walked in! The sales staff was so helpful, and I was very pleased with the product I bought! I recommend going to Ulta for expert makeup advice!

Stay away...came to spend some money on fragrance, asked for help, left alone and ignored for atleast 15 minutes. Very rude staff also. Save your money and buy from somewhere else.

I had a very bad curly hair cut experience at Ulta in Tom’s River last year. I decided to try the Howell location and made an appointment with Cali. From the minute she greeted me she was friendly and attentive. She listened to what I wanted and gave me input. We had lovely conversation while she dry cut, washed, conditioned and checked her work while my hair was wet. My hair was dried using a traditional beauty shop bonnet dryer. She made some product suggestions but did try to hard sell. I left the salon extremely happy and told her she better not leave me!! I have found my new hair stylist!

do not come here. there is a middle aged man clearly with some sort of problems that chases young girls around the store. Asking if they’re his friends, asking for pictures, etc. my daughter had to come out of the store and call me to come get her because he wouldn’t leave her alone. the workers act friendly with him and don’t address any of this behavior.

I've been going to this Ulta Salon for many years, my hairdresser is Cali and I love her to death! She is not only extremely knowledgeable but she is also very accommodating and not to mention very sweet! No matter how busy she is, she always has time for me! I always leave the Salon feeling and looking my best! Their entire staff is super friendly.

Cali at Ulta hair salon is the best! Always on schedule, always honest and pleasant. I have been going to her for years and have never had a problem with communicating what I want done when it comes to my haircuts or my hair color. She is very knowledgeable and very sweet.

Came in for a haircut and left feeling for more beautiful! I saw Cassie at the salon. She was super thorough, listening to all of my preferences and made me feel comfortable. I’m not usually happy with my haircuts but she gave me exactly what I asked for. Go see Cassie!

Cassie in the salon was so sweet! I have extensions and like to get my hair washed professionally, she really took her time and gave me an amazing shampoo and scalp massage while still being cautious of the extensions. The blowout I got was exactly what I was looking for as well, it takes a while to dry all the hair and she took her time and I didn’t feel rushed at all. I would 10/10 recommend her, she’s all around great from her skill to her bubbly personality! Will be going back from this point on !!

Came in today super excited to do my hair. There are 2 stylist I typically see but one of them left and the other wasn’t available so I went for whoever was free the earliest. I get there is traffic there is nothing you can do about it but the stylist ended up showing up about 15-20 mins late. She then took me over and without even asking any questions or to see a photo she said so I see your down for a total blonde I dont think you should do that, you should really do a full highlight. I said well I would like to be fully blonde thats usually what I do. She then said my hair was too dark and I probably couldnt be blonde. At this point my hair is grown out alot by my tips are blonde and I kept up with my front pieces so I explain that the brown is the only thing I want lighted to match the outgrown blonde. She then walks away goes on the computer and comes back to state then that I will need a full highlight and total blonde because my hair is pretty much a color correction but that even then I may not be blonde because I am so dark. At this point she still hasnt asked me how light am I trying to go to, asking to see any refrences or my previous experience seeing as I do this every year. I asked her how much the quote would be and she said about 235, which really I would pay its not bad, but the overall experience turned me off so I left. 235 isn’t a bad price at all but what is bad is being told I need a color correction and that I cant be blonde because I am too dark, when I go blonde every year. I always lift very quickly and I am not asking to go lighter then what I was previously lifted to, just to match. Very disappointing experience. She was not rude she was very nice but just disappointed.

Was in the store yesterday. I find that the manager that was on was dressed inappropriately. They were training at the time I was there and I had to wait approximately 10 minutes for the cashier because she was training and I totally understand that but in my job experience I have worked retail and have been in the management position. I feel people waiting on line should not be inconvenienced , I feel that manager should have jumped on another register. This is why I feel people her age should not be in management positions they are just kids. Oh by the way not only dressed inappropriately her make was horrible and all she did was talk down to the girls being trained. You should have adults as managers in my opinion.
