I'm hesitant to have anyone touch my cars but sometimes I'm just not equipped to do certain repairs, either tool wise or skill wise. Finding a decent mechanic isn't easy and there are a lot of sketchy shops in this area. A lot.
My son's pickup needed exhaust work and he brought it to a hack shop in Lakewood. What a mess. Long story short, I ended up bringing it here, honestly, based on the Google reviews. We really just wanted it fixed already.
This place is busy. There's barely any place to park. That's good and bad, of course. It took a while to get it fixed which we were ok with but if you bring your car here, be sure to ask how long it's going to take. They were so nice I'm sure they'll work with you to schedule your repair to minimize the downtime.
And that's just it. I was impressed with how nice they were and felt good about bringing his truck here. Was it expensive? Yeah, yeah it was. But that's everywhere. Automotive repairs are expensive. No way around it.
I do nearly all my own repairs and need a decent, trustworthy mechanic to pick up what I can't do. I can't tell you if they're expensive compared to other shops in the area but I can tell you it's always cheaper to have it done right the first time.
GF is my new mechanic. And that's the biggest compliment I can give them.
