The gas station attendants never have all of the pumps open. They seem to enjoy keeping a long line of cars waiting, many with their engines running, adding to more environmental exhaust. But the attendants make sure they have plenty of time to talk and scroll on their phones.

Gas pumps are a joke! Super slow and never enough attendants at NJ locations especially Howell NJ. When are you going to restrict gas purchases to members like Costco did? Time to wise up BJ's.

The staff that I have dealt with at this location are uncommunicative and short. They will schedule you for a time, say 5pm, and will close early without informing you. They can do better.

They were supposed to be open, but came two different days and there’s nobody here.

Their gas station is a hot mess. Never enough pumps open. The attendants there do their best but severely understaffed. It's really not worth the few Pennie's that you save.

Don't bother going to the deli department unless you have at least 45 minutes to kill. Can someone explain to my when the store is open another 3 hours and only 2 people working in the deli that one would be cleaning machines instead of waiting on customers?

Love coming here & shopping for all my house needs. Groceries are great & so are the price of goods. I love searching for sales & pairing coupons. As much as I love shopping at Costco I didn't think I would love it here as much but I really do. It's close to the gym & the gas station. A great area to get errands run.

I'll give BJs in Howell one thing, they have the best rotisserie chicken deal on the planet - a delicious three pound bird for five dollars. However, that's where the fun usually stops as this location does nothing but hurt my head. Even before you walk in the door the line for gas is chaotic, reminiscent of the last chopper out of Saigon manned by a crew who can't decide if they're awake yet -- stupidity combined with mismanagement is never pretty but at this location it's elevated to an art form. If they were any slower, I could just as easily extract the petroleum from the ground myself. If you think I'm being rough, drop by any Costco for a fill-up, their fueling operation is light years ahead. Inside the club things improve slightly but not much. The produce is decent and in ample quantities but for some reason the powers that be think clogging the aisles with pallets of sale merchandise will delight customers on a busy Saturday with an impromptu game of shopping cart Thunderdome as everyone tries to squeeze through the artificially constricted corridors. Just last weekend I took out the hamstrings of three overzealous shopping zombies with some excellent cutting shears they had on sale for $14.99. And you can all but forget about complaining to management about the eternal logjam... if you can find a warm body they are trained to look right through you with a glazed rictus repeating "I'll have to talk to the home office in Massachusetts." That's okay, you talk to your feckless leaders in Faneuil Hall while I let my membership lapse in New Jersey. The BJ's in Howell just sucks.

The Manager Sean does not represent BJs good customer service. He went out of his way not to help me with my problem. I bought a Samsung tv for 600 plus dollars. Less than 90 days old and it stop working. He told me without a receipt or box I cant help and walked away. Bad customer service. Well I called corporate and they said He handled it wrong and all he had to do was give me corporate number and they will email a copy of my receipt. I eventually found my receipt and got another television. I told him afterwards that that's not the way you treat customers and he said i deal with stuff like this every day. Manager of the year. Sean at the Howell location. I guess cause i was the first issue of the day or was it because the color of my skin Sean the Manager could not help. I will never know but keep your receipts and boxes for everything you buy. If you need help dont go to the Manager Sean. He is useless and should not work there if he cant help the customers.

Very similar to sams club but it's a great place to shop. It has its own gas station on the outside parking lot. Everything in bulk here, with many departments for other items. It's great here!

The absolute worst place to go for tires, no manager on duty, no one employee picks up the phone. Its ridiculous how they treat customers. I asked for a manager, I get the asset manager. This guy was a tool.

Sometimes you do things that you know are going to end badly but you do them anyway because you just want to believe in people. Welcome to BJ's tire shop. The warehouse here is awesome, just to be clear. 4 stars for them. My little girl will be driving soon and I'll be giving her my car. The beast needs a few things before I hand her the keys and tires were on the list. BJs had the best deal on tires I could find. You can shop, purchase, and schedule installation online. It was great!!! Installation went as expected. I dropped the car off and came back when it was finished. I couldn't bear to go through what I went through the last time. No problems and it all went smoothly, until the ride home. The tires were so out of balance the car began to shake at 25 mph, which got more violent as the speed increased. It was frightening and clearly dangerous. I contacted BJs to tell them there was an issue. I had to schedule an appointment a week later so they could fix their mistake which meant I got to drive it like that for a week. Terrifying. They rebalanced and rotated the tires with a little protesting, which I found odd since they were the people that screwed it up. It's still got a bit of a shake which means my mechanic will be making a little extra cash rebalancing their rebalance job. Suddenly their tire deal wasn't such a deal. And to think my little girl will be driving on those tires. Like I don't have enough to worry about.

Good selection and mostly friendly employees. I wish they had a bigger organic selection but the prices are great and the always have good coupons
