Update: I went to store tonight 11/5/24 with my new card to process the return and didn’t even need the card. Now I ??♂️ the reasoning behind that, was it that the prior associate/the on duty manager didn’t know what they were doing or even not informed things had changed or was it that the company changed their system after I complained! At any rate although that was very frustrating knowing that I possibly didnt need the card all along. The associate tonight processed the return with ease within seconds time and he was very friendly, understanding, professional & a pro at his job, making for me to bump my review back up to five stars. Now, will I shop at any AutoZone again I ??♂️ but I think it’s fair to say it’s 50/50! Thank you to the associate working the night of 11/5/24 between 18:00 & 18:05 whom assisted me I greatly appreciate ur professionalism!

I’m one that rarely ever complains in fact despite a near bad experience at this same location I had a five star review. Now after my recent bad experience attempting to make a return of which although I had the receipt but misplaced the credit card used for the purchase. I have retracted that review and am now posting a one star one. It really made me become displeased with AutoZone at this point. Nothing to really do with this exact location employees as they are go by the rules and policies. However, as a company in whole AutoZone is no longer a place I will do business with just based on the fact that its owner is apparently greedy as their systems are not updated to modern times. See most retail establishments systems are capable of automatically putting the purchase amount right back to the card without the need of the card. Just saying this is obviously an upgrade of which AutoZone has failed to accomplish yet and again probably as it cost and from greediness its owner doesn’t want to put the money out for system enhancing. As he/she doesn’t realize business is not only about making money it’s also about putting out money so that the business stays a float on modern times and so forth in order to be able to provide the best customer service experience as possible. No fault to the employees here at this AutoZone as they actually are the most understanding kind professional people. It’s just unfortunate they happen to be employees of an horrific company. Besides the fact things I bought here necessarily anit defective but on the other hand the products purchased here have not been of the best quality neither. I had one part of which I bought here of which wasn’t defective so to say but had a slight blemish that caused it fail much sooner than should have, and I am always seeing some type of blemish with most items I buy here so moving forward I will just shop either advanced auto or Napa as although a bit more pricey at least the quality is perfect.

I cannot say enough about Rick and Joe at this Auto Zone in Howell. I was stranded with my young daughters and a dead car battery at a store across the street from the Auto Zone. I called to see if anyone could help me and Rick was immediately helpful and calmed me down. He assured me that he could help me and that they had my car's battery in stock. Joe was able to get my car to the parking lot of Auto Zone and change out my dead battery. I got home within 90 minutes of my original call! Excellent service and product! 3 year warranty and received discounts as well. THANK YOU RICK AND JOE!!!!!

My online order has been cancelled. I want to know when I will receive my refund.
I want to add, why do you cancel the entire order instead of just refunding the parts that are not available. This has brought me consequences of not being able to work and losing my work day because I could have replaced or installed some parts that were available in the store.
As a consequence of them I will have to wait for the refund which should be 4 days and in total those 4 days are equivalent to approximately $700. Too bad and I am very disappointed with this type

Shane was a huge help, we came from out of town to visit family and needed a battery, he was able to find us one that had even more amps than our old one. He even offered to put it in for us but we were in a hurry so declined. Alot of places dont offer this kind of service anymore sadly. Kuddos to him and his team

Customer service is below average. Went in for headlight bulbs and their service people recommended the wrong one three times. Very poor product knowledge. Likely not going back

The best AutoZone I have been too . Within seconds I was helped they don't replace headlights anymore but the gentleman standing by the register that was a worker took a look at it with in seconds he recommended a new headlight and the cashier was very helpful as well . Definitely recommend. So nice thanks again

Employees terrible. No help at all. I have a 5 month all Battery (DIRALAST GOLD). It was replaced 3 months ago. Now I have the same problem. If has warranty why NOT REPLACED.???.he want me to leave the Battery and spend ours of charging it.
