I ordered the book "Captured Rebel Flag" online-- this was the only place I could find it! The seller got back to me right away saying he had to order more from the publisher in the UK (I think this book has been out of print for 10+ years) and it came! The website is a little outdated but functional and the seller was amazing. Thank you so much! Now that you've got the book back in print a lot of Revolutionary War history buffs will appreciate it.

Be warned that you will be asked about your vaccination status and other private medical information. For some reason I was also asked if I was a card-carrying member of the US Communist Party. It’s a shame because it looked like an interesting store and surely filled with Lenin-Marxist literature.

Military Matters is the best military bookstore I've ever encountered in the United States. Proprietor Dennis Stackhouse keeps a virtual Aladdin's cave of military books on material ranging from the Napoleonic era up to the 21st Century, including of course my favorite, titles by Osprey publishing.

The owner is impatient, condescending, and rude. Overall the shop is a good experience but the owner is either hovering over you, ignoring you, or is demeaning when answering any questions about books. It;s a shame as I have known the owner for 20+ years.
