I visited the Hopeville Office and I was very pleased with the care, the Dr's and the Techs were very thorough and answered all my questions and offered the best options for improving my vision. The check in check out girl was very nice and very considerate as welland made the visit pleasant.

Don't ever leave a bad review about their parking situation at their other location or you'll be emailed back from the owner that because I left a honest nicely written review that I'm no longer allowed to be a patient at either location.

I went for my first appointment recently and was very happy. Dr. Zhao was great. Didn't try and upsell me - in fact told me that my glasses were fine as they were and just to come back in a year.

I'm a fan of Dr. Daniels but was very disappointed with the service today. I waited for over an hour to be seen by the doctor, and of course things like that happen sometimes, but when he finally finished with the patient before me he skipped past me and saw a patient that had come in after me and who had a much later appointment (I heard him when he came in talking to the office staff). When I spoke to the office staff about my concern, they spoke to Dr. Daniels who said I would have to wait a little longer. Sadly, it is time for me to find a new eye doctor.

Review for Dr Zhao (and Dr Parma) and the Lambertville office. I really like this little no nonsense office. High quality, no rush care with no waterfalls or glossy overhead. Very thorough exam and able to ask many questions ( about my cataracts). Great doctor and tech assistance with no attitudes. Highly reccommended from my three appointments so far. This office makes the Phillips Eye Care joints look like factory farming.

Best eye exam I've had. The doctor and optometry student that helped me were thorough and thoughtful. I had previously been to a provider where I had a negative experience and was weary as I walked into the office but I couldn't be happier with the service provided.I don't have vision insurance and was ready for a hefty bill. However, the standard exam and contact lens fitting only cost me $185. I had spoken with a few providers prior to booking my appointment here and they quoted me much higher. Even more, before the exam started the doctor noted that I didn't have insurance and reviewed the costs with me- no one likes a surprise medical bill.I will definitely be back!

I've dread going to the eye dr since I was a child. This was by far my best experience I've had at any medical appointment. Very friendly helpful staff.

They were so into upselling that it makes one question their integrity and professionalism. I wouldn’t go back or suggest that anybody try them.

They were so into upselling that it makes one question their integrity and professionalism. In fact, it was comical. I wouldn't go back or suggest that anybody try them. I don't usually write reviews but that's how strongly I feel about their practice. One of the technicians actually took my son aside to suggested that he should get the higher priced thinner lenses because his prescription would be so thick. This just isn't true since he doesn't have much of a prescription. The experience was so bad that I couldn't wait to get out of there and pick out our glasses somewhere else.

I went there with my wife thinking there would of used my vision insurance but they gave me some b.s. excuse and did all these unnecessary test for me and my wife and they didnt tell me that they were using my medical insurance and when I left they said I owe 250 dollars and the check up was supposed to be free from my vision plan.Im getting a lawyer and im not giving them a cent.

I had the worst experience ever there.I had vision insurance that they didnt use and they lied and said that because of my age they had to use my medical and not my vision.I was ready to leave and then they said I owe 250 dollars without telling me anything about my insurance.

After checking my eye insurance policy it stated this practice was in network. Called and made appointments for me and my husband to get our eyes checked because I needed reading glasses. After the exams as we were leaving we were told 100$ copay each!!!! To find they went thru our Health Insurance! They made an excuse as to why they did that we paid the copay and were hoping to put this behind us especially being we pay for our Eye Care insurance monthly! Now we get hit with a bill because of our health insurance deductable!!!!! We never would of had a routine eye exam if we would of know they were going through our health insurance!!! That's just shady behavior in my opinion!!!! Never again, lesson learned. If you go here be sure to get all price info upfront !!!!!!

This is my first Yelp. I shy away from this type of stuff, but in this case -- the incompetence of this medical office has to be shared. My fiancé and I are both healthcare executives and this practice REPEATEDLY ordered us contacts that were the wrong script. FRUSTRATING isn't a strong enough word to describe. They even tried to stick the required rush overnight fees on us -- TO FIX THEIR MISTAKE -- until we objected. Furthermore, Dr. Daniels is also on the board of an emerging contact lense company and -- even though I love the accuvue fit and have been wearing for decades, he really pushed his company's contacts on me. They hurt, I tried to be nice and it delayed fit by 2 weeks until I DEMANDED he give me Accuvue! Ridiculous. Now it is mid Coronovirus outbreak - March 20, 2020 and I was running low on contacts and did NOT want to go in for visit to renew because i want to maintain SOCIAL DISTANCE. I simply wanted to call 1800CONTACTS to have my current script working fine, delivered to my home. When I called Dr.Daniels, he insisted that he order them. I said that I ordered while his office was closed -- I just needed script. I told him I'm good with 1800CONTACTS. He didn't like that and wouldn't give me current script. This accelerated the inevitable (which I did not want to do during these quaranteed times) but now I am in the hands of competent professionals - and STAFF at a reputable practice in Princeton. Sitting with my mask o Stay away from this practice and safe yourself frustration.
