Best Pharmacy I have been a customer of this pharmacy for about 20 years. I have nothing but good reviews to say about their service and reliability. The owners and staff always go out of the way to help with refills, pre authorizations and trying to find those hard to fill prescriptions. Yes, they are VERY busy! Sometimes you may have to wait. It reflects the time they take to get everything right and to provide the best service possible. If you prefer the personal service of a small town pharmacist then Hopewell is the place. I travel 40 minutes past all the big box drug stores to be treated with professionalism and respect. Disregard those less than stellar reviews. They do not reflect the overall positive experience that you will receive from Hopewell and did I mention they also compound special Rx. They do it all!

Very disappointed with service. Covid medication was not available for 6 days after it was called in. I was told it would be ready on the first day, I drive 45 minutes to get there only to find out it would take 6 more days. There price was noticeably higher than others but when you sick you are willing to pay. I adamantly do not recommend this pharmacy. I feel the are taking advantage of the covid epidemic. In my opinion there should be a criminal investigation. They lied to me on the phone. The pharmacy seems toBe in a state of confusion.My experience was just very bad. It’s worth traveling to other pharmacies where they don’t take advantage of people who are sick

I'm so grateful that Diane takes care of me at Hopewell Pharmacy. They've been doing my thyroid and progesterone compounded for years and her service is first class. I always ask for her. Nice having this old fashion service.

I have been using Hopewell pharmacy for over 15 years but I have noticed that in the past 1 year the service has gone downhill. I went 3 times to pick up my medication and still not ready to pick up. Ridiculous!!! I am done going to CVS.

First time here can't believe what a hot mess it is. I have been waiting for almost an hour, was told 10 min pick up. Customers after me had issues...will never come back!

I just got hung up on twice by two different representatives. In mid-sentence. Talk about rude. I use a compound medication that has to remain frozen. The first woman's name was Karen. Go figure. Im going to ask my Doctor if there is a closer and nicer compounding center. And, I understand your overwhelmed but that's not my fault. And don't treat me like it is.Update, so Joyce calls me, and I let it go to voicemail. And hear Her using her schoolteacher voice to tell me about the phone system. Which resulted in a phone call to a local compounding pharmacy. With a nicer class of people. A prescription transfer request has been sent to my physician.

I really, really try to support local businesses and am extremely hesitant to write a negative review. But as I sit here suffering from kidney stones unable to get the medicine I need from them, I feel compelled to share my experience over several years of failures. My wife and I have had numerous occasions with multiple doctors' offices where Hopewell Pharmacy claims that they never received the prescription. We've both called the doctors' offices to confirm and the doctors can always provide an exact time they sent the prescription electronically. I can also go onto MyChart and see my medical records and confirm that the prescription was called in. Despite this, Hopewell Pharmacy simply defers responsibility and blames others. In some cases, we've had to wait days for them to sort it out. The people here are very nice, but it's terribly unreliable and seemingly disorganized. If this happened repeatedly with one doctor's office, I would think it's the doctor. But the fact that it keeps happening to us regardless of the doctor makes it clear where the problem lies. My only possible conclusions are that they lie directly to their patients (this time they magically said they found the prescription the second I told them that I was going to request a different pharmacy, which is extremely suspicious timing) or that they are just incompetent. Either way, it's probably not safe to use them in the future and it's certainly an inconvenience. I'd love to be able to support a local business, but it is increasingly difficult to do so as I sit in pain trying to make multiple calls to get the basic care I need and then being told that it's somehow my fault.REPLY to their response: They did fill the prescription within 5 minutes of the moment I said I would just switch it to a different pharmacy. Until that moment, they denied they had the prescription but miraculously found it the instant I said I was going somewhere else. Then they had three people waiting at the store to yell at me when I picked up my medicine, telling me I shouldn't have written a google review, and that none of my wife nor my numerous negative experiences were true or their fault. They are clearly very attentive to google reviews and customers going to competitors, but they don't seem interested in helping customers otherwise and insist on blaming them and then bragging about their great service on google. I'm glad that I'll never have to get a prescription filled there ever again. Only go, if the best outcome you seek is for them to attack you after giving you your medicine.

My experience is similar to many others. They consistently have trouble filling prescriptions. Their employees are hostile. I love supporting local businesses, but it's tough to get behind an incompetent and irresponsible pharmacy who spends more time berating their customers than providing services.

Dealing with medical stuff sucks but Hopewell Pharmacy - Jane specifically, is truly wonderful and made the process of getting my prescription filled easy and pleasant. She was warm, helpful and we every interaction with her has been truly positive. Thank you Jane!
