Don’t use them if you actually need your medication in a prompt manner. Here’s a timeline that illustrates their incompetence.- I paid for my prescription on 4-22(a Monday) in the late morning/early afternoon.-Late afternoon of 4-25 I called for an update and was told “it was stillIn the lab”(the medication is two ingredients: the drug and preserved water). I asked when it would get shipped out and they said, “ maybe not until the following week”.-On 4-29(following Monday) I called again asking for another update and was told it’s going out 4-30, but it might not arrive until 5-2(Thursday). That’s a full 10 days after the prescription was given to them. They should upgrade my shipping to overnight/express after this obscene wait.-On 4-30 I called back just to make sure it was going out when they said it would. They confirmed it was going out that day and to my relief I received a fedex tracking email a few hours later. Tracking estimates it will arrive 5-1(9 days after prescription drop off). Although I didn’t get any shipping upgrade so it’s an estimate and not a guaranteed delivery date.I’m waiting on an antidepressant/anti-anxiety medication. They clearly do not care about their patients. The number of stories that match mine on here and Yelp display this is a pattern and not something one off.I’ve never left a google review before, but I am so upset at the way this pharmacy handles itself. If they couldn’t have filled my medication in a timely manner they should have advised me to go elsewhere. This is no way to treat sick people. I’m disgusted.(4-30): You can see the owner saw my review and asked me to call the pharmacy to resolve the issue. A great start would have been upgrading my shipping like I mentioned in this review I’ve been progressively updating. I don’t know how the issue can be resolved when the only thing I asked for (upgraded shipping) wasn’t granted. The damage has been done. I had a miserable and unproductive week without my medication.On the other hand, I will still call them (as soon as my medication arrives) because I might as well keep this review as thorough as possible. I think I’m a fair person and the least I can do when leaving such a scathing review is hear them out.5-01- Received Medication (9 days total after paying)5-06- I mentioned I would call them back and I did. Well I called the pharmacy and waited a really long time as it rang and rang only to met with an answering machine. I called back on their secondary number and luckily someone picked up that phone. I was offered a refund on the shipping for the prescription. It amounts to a 10% refund(it’s not about the money, but that’s a small sum given the inconvenience). While the owner sounded apologetic, I think it’s too little too late. The blame was passed off on an unknown employee. They didn’t seem concerned with which employee caused the delay. I mean it shouldn’t be hard to figure out whom was causing the delay when I have the call logs on my phone. I was polite given the owner’s bereavement, but it felt like lip service to be frank. I like to give people second chances, but I feel that would be foolish on my part after everything.

The voice answering system should not give you an estimated time for your prescription to be ready. It has never been accurate for me. Waiting longer than you’re told is probably one of the top ways to piss customers off.

Best Pharmacy I have been a customer of this pharmacy for about 20 years. I have nothing but good reviews to say about their service and reliability. The owners and staff always go out of the way to help with refills, pre authorizations and trying to find those hard to fill prescriptions. Yes, they are VERY busy! Sometimes you may have to wait. It reflects the time they take to get everything right and to provide the best service possible. If you prefer the personal service of a small town pharmacist then Hopewell is the place. I travel 40 minutes past all the big box drug stores to be treated with professionalism and respect. Disregard those less than stellar reviews. They do not reflect the overall positive experience that you will receive from Hopewell and did I mention they also compound special Rx. They do it all!

Very disappointed with service. Covid medication was not available for 6 days after it was called in. I was told it would be ready on the first day, I drive 45 minutes to get there only to find out it would take 6 more days. There price was noticeably higher than others but when you sick you are willing to pay. I adamantly do not recommend this pharmacy. I feel the are taking advantage of the covid epidemic. In my opinion there should be a criminal investigation. They lied to me on the phone. The pharmacy seems toBe in a state of confusion.My experience was just very bad. It’s worth traveling to other pharmacies where they don’t take advantage of people who are sick

I'm so grateful that Diane takes care of me at Hopewell Pharmacy. They've been doing my thyroid and progesterone compounded for years and her service is first class. I always ask for her. Nice having this old fashion service.

I have been using Hopewell pharmacy for over 15 years but I have noticed that in the past 1 year the service has gone downhill. I went 3 times to pick up my medication and still not ready to pick up. Ridiculous!!! I am done going to CVS.

I just got hung up on twice by two different representatives. In mid-sentence. Talk about rude. I use a compound medication that has to remain frozen. The first woman's name was Karen. Go figure. Im going to ask my Doctor if there is a closer and nicer compounding center. And, I understand your overwhelmed but that's not my fault. And don't treat me like it is.Update, so Joyce calls me, and I let it go to voicemail. And hear Her using her schoolteacher voice to tell me about the phone system. Which resulted in a phone call to a local compounding pharmacy. With a nicer class of people. A prescription transfer request has been sent to my physician.
