I had the most fantastic experience getting my new hair cut, color, highlights, etc …at Friends Salon. This was such an excellent relaxing session and I was treated so special by Melissa. She took so much time in listening to me and understanding exactly what my hair needed and look I wanted. I cannot say enough kind words about this exceptional salon and I already booked my next appointment with Melissa. Everyone including her even as an owner of the salon was so down to earth and pleasant. Such a welcoming professional and personal presence…I highly recommend Friends Salon to anyone who wants to have a great new look with the expertise and friendliness of a wonderful Salon. It is a great feeling to find genuine people in a business that you can’t wait to make part of your self care routine…Thanks again Melissa and the friends family at the salon.

So grateful for the care here. The great haircut was secondary to the welcoming and caring atmosphere. Suffering from a chronic illness has left me with hair loss and feeling pretty vulnerable. I got a last min appointment with Laurie, and was only met with kindness when asking for natural products due to chemical sensitivity. Laurie saw I was wearing a mask and instinctively put one on as well, which only made me feel less alone in my condition. She took great care with my hair, made me feel much better about it, and was super compassionate. I left feeling a spark that my illness has taken away. Thank you to the whole team for creating such a welcoming place. It says volumes that the stylists have been there 16-23 years!
Oh, and the bonus? My new cut resulted in a donation to Wigs 4 Kids, thanks to Laurie’s help.

What a great place Melissa and her whole staff are so friendly, helpful and so east to talk to. I went in the get my better half a gift certificate to treat herself. Melissa and great girl at them desk helped me figure out just the right gift certificate to cover all of my better half's needs.. Great place and your treated like a friend or family..

Joanne did an amazing job with my hair! She was SO friendly and super fast. She didn't try to do anything crazy with my hair, she really listened to what I wanted and I couldn't be more happy with the cut.

I brought my 3 year old daughter here for her first haircut because it was recommended to us by a friend. The staff went above and beyond to make sure my daughter felt comfortable (which was not easy since my daughter was terrified of getting her hair cut). They gave her lollipops, let her hold a mirror, they colored with her... they even went as far as cutting each other's hair to show her it wasn't scary. They really pulled out all stops. They did so well that she finally got her hair washed and cut by Leslie -- who was a doll. My daughter also has very curly hair and she knew how to shape it. At the end they gave us a certificate with her lock of hair to bring home. I was so pleased, I will definitely be returning! Highly recommend!Service: Hairstyling

Just moved to the area and decided to go to Friends salon because of all the good reviews. Joanne and her staff were so friendly, welcoming and professional I cannot wait to go back.
