1710 NJ-35, Oakhurst“The Max Challenge has been great for helping me to reestablish the exercise habit after significant medical issues and injuries had me sidelined. Michael, the evening instructor is a GEM! So sweet, upbeat and able to give modifications for every single exercise. He kept checking in on how I was feeling and we realized I needed to stay standing in order to accommodate post-concussion syndrome, so for every exercise, he gives me a standing version.I also really like the 45 minute class time- it’s the Goldilocks time- not too short and not too long!Just be aware that the positive vibe that is one of the Max hallmarks can include lots of high fives and sometimes I wish there was a cynical, sarcastic, “no-touching “ corner for us introverts! But it does come across as very sincere and they do follow up with text reminders to make sure you don’t give up which is helpful!”

4345 US-9, Freehold“I was very hesitant to try a free class but thankfully my boyfriend recommended I try and I’m so glad I did. I took Kyle for my first class and he was incredible. He was motivating and very helpful. Immediately when I came in they were welcoming. I signed up for a membership and excited. Thank you all!”
“I used to be an employee here 2013-2017 and it was one of the best in NJ. Since then, they have made incredible strides to be even better. Equipment is up to date and well maintained. Some of it you won't see anywhere else you go. Highly recommend!I now live in Denver and visit yearly. This facility is better than nearly every gym we have in the Denver Metro area.”

776 Shrewsbury Ave, Tinton Falls“I joined Critical Mass January 2021, right after moving to the county, with Ken as my trainer. Went out on a medical leave and then came back at some point in March or April 2021. After doing countless one on one sessions Ken convinced me to come to class during one of the CM challenges. I never did a class and was convinced it wasn't for me for the longest time, till Ken convinced me to try class. Have been going to class ever since AND continuing to do one on one with Ken. I have had 2 trainers prior to Ken and NEVER saw as much progress as I have with Ken. Completed me second, MassFest, a lifting competition for many gym members to earn PRs, cheer on peers, and truly think the group of people are inspiring to watch and makes me want to continue to do better. As for Ken, he not only inspires you but knows your strength more than you do, and pushes you to reach beyond your full potential. I have never felt stronger in my life then at this point, and this is after being athletic in high school. Ken and Critical Mass are the sole reason for that. If you are debating on a gym or debating on a trainer, search no farther than Critical Mass and Ken”
“I’ve been doing CrossFit since 2016. I joined Salus about 6 months ago after moving to the area and I haven’t looked back! The camaraderie amongst the members and coaches is unmatched. The programming has me feeling stronger and fitter than I have in a long time. Salus made me fall in love with crossfit all over again ?❤️”

520 US-9 Suite 7, Manalapan“We’ve been going to my gym with my son now for over a year. We started him when he was only crawling around 15 months and have watched him grow from a timid, cautious baby to a confident, adventurous 2 year old. The owners put their hearts into every session and treat each kid with love & care. I’m so happy with our decision to enroll our son & encourage anyone else to do so as well!”

429 Hwy 79, Morganville“Absolutely love this gym! The staff here is amazing and super friendly. It's not just a gym; it's a family and a fantastic community. As a girl, I feel completely comfortable working out here. The equipment is top-notch, and John is always around to lend a hand. This isn't your typical gym; the staff, especially John, go above and beyond to ensure you're supported and set up for success. Highly recommend!”

104 US-9, Englishtown“First time at any Orange Theory and I took Abdullah's class and it was GREAT!! He took the time to make sure I understood the class format and gave me modifications when I needed them. All staff is very friendly and helpful. Would recommend!”
“Love this place!! Such great staff who really knows how to train people. I had surgery on my right rotator cup and had very little flexibility. Since then, within the little time I been going. I’am more flexible and have increased in strength with my right shoulder. But not only is my shoulder getting better, I’am also getting leaner, stronger and being more flexible all around.”
“Coming from a person who never has time to leave reviews, this place is worth it to write one up. I’ve been a member for the past 3 months. And I have to say I don’t know why I haven’t joined sooner. So, a little background on me, I delivered my second child about a year ago. Postpartum blues were starting to subside and I wanted to do something for myself. So, I decided to take the leap at CrossFit, again(10 years since I last joined a CrossFit gym). I looked at a couple of CrossFit gyms around me and this one stood out the most. I nervously walked in on the first day and was greeted by Shannon (coach) who welcomed me with open arms and gave me a tour around the place. Then met Frank (owner/coach) who right away was interested in getting to know me and my goals. By the 3rd or 4th visit, the coaches/owner and some members already knew who I was and would even ask how I was or how my kids are. People remembered who I was and I thought that was nice. As I kept attending class, I got to get to know the different coaches/members. And everyone with different backgrounds/ages/careers etc., different walks of life have been nothing but, welcoming and kind. I keep coming back, obviously to exercise, but for that sense of community and being a part of something. Lastly, for anyone who wants to join but, feel intimidated or discouraged, I never once felt like I was less fit or feel like I wasn’t good enough to be there. I have been out of the CrossFit game for almost a little over10 years with life happenings and being postpartum (suffering from diastis recti/pelvic pain/sciatic pain), I am unable to do certain CrossFit movements. With the help of the coaches/members, I have found different movements and stretches to get me through the workouts. That I am extremely grateful for because I finally get to do what I’ve been missing. With that being said, I couldn’t rave about this place anymore than I could. Frank did a great job with this place! If I could change anything, it would be I wish I joined sooner.”
“Machines are clean and no issues, place is never packed. The pool is nice. Only reason its not 5 star cause its a little expensive and you still have to pay for separate sauna and jacouzee. The good thing is your membership includes classes. Great place.”

327 NJ-35, Red Bank“I absolutely love Underground Gym! The unique styles that Eric, Lana, and Sergei bring to each class make workouts exciting. The intimate class size creates a supportive environment, and I appreciate the personalized attention. Following their program, I lost 25 lbs in just two months! This is an outstanding fitness experience!”
“I really love this gym! All I'd say is sometimes the shakes are hit or miss. I really look forward to my shakes, so I'd appreciate it if they are consistent.”
“I’m definitely not the prototype of someone who would be a member of a gym like this. However Joe and everyone else have been very supportive despite my age, health, and lack of previous experience. If you are looking for treadmills and machines with no help and you fend for yourself like the other gyms have, then you are in the wrong place. If you want serious training where you are being helped to set and achieve your personal goals and get results, then this is where you should be going. They will show you the right way to do lifts and other exercises whether you are at the early stages of your training or you are an experienced weightlifter.”
5:30AM - 8PM
420 NJ-34, Colts Neck“Absolutely life changing ! I started at Free Will a few years ago as running and home workouts were just not working anymore. Ky really pushes you to work hard. I feel stronger than ever and the workouts have changed my body for the better. No excuses here you will be pushed but you will be rewarded. It’s not only a gym but also has a nutritional aspect as well. There are group cleanes, weigh ins and overall health awareness. Plus it’s a great group of clients.”
“Great service great team and one of the best workout experiences I’ve ever had. The OTF team is great and the workout routines are always changing. They find different ways to keep exercise interesting and fun. By far the most enjoyable fitness experience I’ve ever had; coaches are there to help and assist with questions and form if you are unsure as to how to preform an exercise. I never feel pressured to keep up with others as they say to listen to your body and go at your own pace.”
“Best gym daycare I’ve used for my two children. I’ve changed gyms several times, trying to find the right fit. They love the ladies great the children with big smiles and open arms every time. My children love them so much, they ask to go everyday! I feel completely safe leaving them for 2hrs.”

549 NJ-35, Red Bank“My 2 year old LOVED open gym in the bitty bouncers room. It was very clean and safe for him to run around, jump, climb and explore! There were 2-3 coaches in the room that were helping the kids and making sure they were safe. I also loved that open gym was right before nap time. My son keeps asking to go back and we definitely will.”

“I was in town for a weekend wedding & came across Synergy when I did a search for hot studios. I took a 60 & 75 min hot 26 with Cara. She's a fantastic teacher & adept at adjusting the class depending on the knowledge level of the students. Nikki, who was at the front desk, was so nice & helpful. I didn't get a chance to take her class, but it sounds like a great option for an intense workout.Mats & towels are included; Clean showers (w/ shower sandals!); women owned w/ friendly & knowledgeable staff - this is a convenient studio for locals & visitors.”

She is great, super personable and takes the time to build a relationship with all members. She is definitely a value to Retro and makes the experience that much more enjoyable. The staff make the gym a great place to get a workout in. ??”

From a beginner to a seasoned yogi this studio has classes for ALL levels!Lindsay is by far one of the best teachers, boss’s and friends I have ever merged paths with on my journey through life. I am forever grateful for her, this studio and what this community has offered me. It’s beyond what I can put into words.10/10 would recommend to every single person on this planet!”

749 Hope Rd Ste A, Eatontown“I joined the pit as a member in 2019 when it first opened. The gym is well run, organized, and clean. They’re always upgrading equipment and has a very friendly community. I’ve been in strength sports for 10+ years and this gym has everything you need for strongman, powerlifting, or olympic weightlifting. It also has a very welcoming environment to general population and the average gym goer. 100% would recommend to anyone in the Monmouth County area.”
“I am not technically a Relentless member, but I would be if I lived closer! I am Coach Alyssa's Aunt and want to share how much she helped me. I have been having severe shoulder pain with limited range of motion for many months. I could barely lift anything or even put my arm into the sleeve of my jacket without difficulty. As an RN for over 30 years, my body has had a lot of wear and tear, and I figured this was something I would just have to deal with. Of course, as a nurse, I am the worst patient! Anyways, Coach Alyssa saw I was having difficulty, listened to my symptoms, and gave me a few simple exercises and stretches to do. I have been doing them and am SO happy to say my pain is much lessened and my range of motion is much improved! I really can't thank her enough! The Relentless crew is so lucky to have Coaches like Alyssa and Dana!”

500 NJ-35, Middletown“Clean, convenient, and well equipped. Only negatives would be that they're slow to repair out of service equipment and they haven't added anything new in all the years I've been going there... like a rowing machine or anything else.”
“Top notch gym and staff. Nothing like I’ve experienced before. They really take pride in their community and offerings. Proud to be a part of this fitness center.”

It was such an incredible full body workout that left me feeling energetic and amazing! The instructors were so patient, helpful, and motivating. Thank you, PilatesBlast!”
“It’s a nice gym. It’s generally very clean and it has good equipment. Only issue is the "shirts on" rule only applies to men- Women shouldn’t be walking around in bras!”
