Classes are great, but their cancellation policy is far too strict. If you’re a regular member coming multiple times a week, missing one class every few months should be excused. Life happens, people get sick, and emergencies pop up. I’m not asking for a million excused classes, but one a quarter when I’m paying for 3+ classes a week is more than reasonable.They’re also very inconsistent with who they give grace to. I know several members who have gotten 3+ grace classes but I’m being refused a 2nd after an app glitch double booked me.

Went weekly for two years minus some time off after giving birth. While it’s technically group fitness you hardly notice anyone else, the workout is so intense and 50 minutes flies! Super efficient, I loved being able to get there two minutes before class started and not miss a thing. Once a week was enough to get in good shape and help make for a quick and easy birth!I stopped going for now because I need classes with childcare but once I’m able to again I’ll be back! Great workout, instructors, and studio.

This review is not about the SLT classes or Instructors. It is about the management. As a retired Master Pilates Instructor, who owned a classical pilates studio, it is quite disgusting how they handle their cancellation policy. I am presently a doctor and emergencies come up in my patients, which I understand. I was ill and they credited me a class. Many times I book classes end up not showing up because I am on call, and have to tend to patients in the ER. I do NOT ask for a credit for those classes, because I can understand, thats the nature of my profession. This past week, I had a kidney stone, and was in agony doubled over in the ER. I reached out to them and asked them for a credit with a proof, that I literally in the ER in extreme agony. They responded, "Sorry our 12 hour policy stands". I find it absolutely disgusting.

Always love taking classes here. The facilities are clean and easy to get to. Every instructor I've ever taken a class with has been friendly and encouraging with good feedback. And my favorite part, they actually encourage you to stretch at the end and take you through a quick cool down. I find most megaformer studios miss the stretching component, but it's so crucial to stretch after for muscle recovery.

Had a terrible experience with the instructor Cara when I arrived 3 minutes late to her class and she yelled at me to leave and refused to let me in. I lost my money that I paid for the class so I emailed the studio and they did not respond or give me a credit. Do not waste your money here. Extremely rude and unprofessional staff. WILL NOT BE RETURNING.

I really love SLT work-outs - and this space. It's clean, easy to check-in, and a great work-out that really targets smaller muscles and helps with core strength.

I just finished my 10th class (Hoboken studio) and I am absolutely hooked! The workout burns in all the right ways and I can already see (and most importantly feel) a change in my body because of it. I’ve worked out for years doing weight lifting, cardio, yoga; but SLT works the body in a totally different way. The instructors are friendly, supportive, and informative (shout out to Cara A. who was the first to show me the ropes!) They create a great workout environment where you can focus on form and the workout and feel free to ask questions along the way to improve your practice. Plus SLT makes scheduling/canceling classes so seamless. I’m not going to lie, it’s a tough workout but if you come ready to put in work during class, it’s totally worth it.

Pilates is my favorite class of the week! The studio is clean, instructors are helpful and friendly and there is always plenty of space in the studio. I have recommended SLT to all my friends!

SLT is such an amazing workout with awesome instructors.They’ve been doing a great job with safety during COVID with barriers between each megaformer, everyone wearing masks, temp checks, etc. I love it !!!

I've been looking for something more challenging for my core since I stopped doing CrossFit and SLT is IT! Just took my second class after a friend recommended it and let me use a guest pass, and I'm hooked. I love yoga, but wasn't getting the results I wanted - SLT is super challenging for the entire body but I never felt nervous about overdoing it and getting injured like I felt tossing weights around. Already recommended to several friends and colleagues.

This is a good workout, and a nice studio to boot (probably because it's only been open a year and change). The entrance is not obvious (you have to enter on 15th street if I remember correctly), walk down the hallway and take the elevator up (the floor is designated). Make sure to get there early because those classes start On the dot. The instructor was nice/helpful. It was very clear with the two other people in the class that day which one was a member (she did everything perfectly and didn't drip sweat once), and who wasn't. So if you're one of those people that gets intimidated by that class culture where it's clear others come religiously, this place may not be for you. It's challenging even though the moves are small (think about how barre class is but on a reformer-like machine). I got the new member deal (2 class pack for I think around or just under $40). The classes are expensive otherwise (although I think they're on classpass, so if you have that, maybe utilize those credits if you don't want to commit to a full package). All in all-it was a nice studio, good workout from a strength training perspective, good to incorporate into a broader workout routine, a bit expensive, and wouldn't do this as my only means of exercise!

The best/hardest workout. I use muscles in this 50 minute class that I didn't even know I had. The instructors are fantastic.

Yo! Awesome studio. Just took Blossom's class, she was a great instructor. Super bright, kept her energy high and encouraged us all in our strong form and had perfect music. The studio is super clean and a smooth experience start to finish. I love this method of working out and am super happy to have found a studio close to me this morning during my travels through NJ. Would go back to the studio and to Blossom's class, as well as recommend to friends.
