The best butcher ever - Nick Alave !!! Caring, respectful, thoughtful - listens to what you want. Every time we order meat from Nick for family gatherings -sheer perfection - still talking about Easter Prime Rib

If you’re looking for your produce and bread to be covered in mold the second you pick it up, this is your place
Also - they suddenly no longer carry pizza dough? Bizarre.

Two stars because we actually got our food and the manager was really nice — but the level of disorganization of the pick up process is appalling. Placed an order for pick up through the app (which doesn’t allow you to say when you’ve arrived or where you parked by the way). Literally nobody knew where to find the order. I called and spoke with a manager who directed us to come inside the store to customer service (which was what we tried to avoid by placing a pick up order to begin). Manager had to track down the groceries and handle getting them to the car himself because his staff was clueless. Over $300 in groceries, traveling in pouring rain, and 45 mins of staff confusion — a mess. Advice to customers: Order delivery or shop yourself to SAVE time. However, I will end where I began by saying the manager was professional and handled the situation with care — the only reason I will not give them the one star this process deserved.

Good place to shop for groceries. Housekeeping is quite impressive and prices are reasonable

While I have not actually shopped at this store, I frequent watch YouTube, which highlights this store and its superior shoplifting surveillance team (aka Felix) and how professional they are in processing said crimes. While it’s disheartening to see folks using EBT also feel the need to steal, I think y’all should find a store without zero tolerance and theft prevention because you WILL be caught here.

It's a really big supermarket especially being in a city, so the selection/variety is a lot better than at other supermarkets in Hoboken. There's a fresh seafood counter, deli, and bakery. My only complaint is that self-checkout can often be really glitchy. Seeing other reviews I'm also concerned that they're removing traditional lanes completely, because honestly a lot of people are super slow at self-checkout. I don't think switching entirely to self-checkout will be the efficiency gains management think it will be.

Very nice and clean store

ShopRite is forcing automated check-out by closing all traditional lanes manned by employees. Extremely aggravating since their self-checkout stations were so poorly conceived. Will probably go to TJs or Whole Foods more often now.

Consider this a clear PSA: Don't steal from any stores but especially this ShopRite. There's a very good chance you'll end up on a YouTube video exposing you for the scum you are.

Lots of variety, but produce isn't fresh. Pricier, and lower quality than Trader Joe's.

The customer service and overall appearance of this location is sub par at best. Too many of the employees are rude, unknowledgeable, and hate working there (some are nice). A young guy working the customer service desk couldn’t care less about helping me find something that was listed in the flyer. The store always looks like it’s being stocked with piles of boxes everywhere, no matter what time you go. And the app is garbage. Many of the digital coupons don’t show up on the app and you have to have them manually added by the customer service employees, which is a huge waste of time. When I asked if this can be fixed on my app, I was told, “No. That has nothing to do with us, that’s corporate.” Gee, thanks buddy!! Today, I went two hours before closing time and the customer service desk was closed with a sign that read, “Closed, try next register” and an arrow that was pointing to a wall. Hilarious. Then, half of the meat section was empty while a worker was washing the refrigerated shelves with a hose and bucket of soapy water. When I asked him about the ground beef, he told me to come back tomorrow! Thumbs up for cleaning, but hosing shelves down during business hours while hauling the meat to the back is ridiculous. Basically, this store takes the cake for the most unpleasant shopping experience. As someone who always shopped at ShopRite, I think I’m done with this place. Self checkout was the beginning of the end. ShopWrong is more like it.

Dirty. Their garbage smells along the whole street. ? Overpriced. Use other shops if you can.
