So many hardware stores in NYC are run by dudes who have no idea what they are talking about, and are just looking to make a dime. Not these fellas. They actually can help you. Please note this is not really a self service kind of store. This is a full service place!”

They clearly were not just trying to make money and had a lot of experience. One of them told me that it's third-generation owned and operated and you can tell. There's no way I could have done this project by going to a place like Home Depot, where the staff can't help, the lines for paint take forever, and the prices aren't that much different.
