“On 11/29/25 My husband and I traveled to Brooklyn in search of healthy authentic vegan food. It was worth the drive. Chef Isra began by serving us a beautiful blend of hibiscus tea followed by blueberries and salad. We also sampled some sorrel, yum. But that Food was absolutely delicious. My husband had a tri color brown rice base and Sweet Potatoes, tri Color Peppers,Sweet Plantains and add on jackfruit stew. AMAZING ! Then I had tri-color brown rice base, green and yellow squash tri-Color Peppers, sweet plantains and for add on spinach okra.AWESOME !!! Then just when we thought it was over she blessed us with a slice of upside down mixed berry cake WOW! This was such a great experience and chef Isra is warm, informative and very knowledgeable. We felt like we had visited her home and she kept coming out the kitchen with good eats that filled our tummy’s without the guilt because we ate clean. We will be back ?”
“So many spices! They also have produce and some dairy type products. And way more shelf stable staples than you would expect for such a small place. People working their are always nice. I love this place.”

“Amazing vegan products and friendly service will definitely be back. I made a nice meal with the frozen mock meat and sauce with rice; extremely tasty. I made my vegan omelet with just eggs and the rice dish for a super delicious lunch. The kind lady working there was so helpful with recommendations and cooking instructions. The store is going to hold a food sampling event/celebration on February 7th 12pm-4pm they highly recommended I check out. I’ll definitely be back to buy more delicious ingredients, great shopping experience.”

“Excellent produce , fresh and good, and an array of well considered good products and policies. I appreciate the plastic free packaging initiatives for example. Only members can shop here, and all members commit to working a three hour cooperative shift every six weeks (sign up is easy and online) stocking shelves for example or bagging and weighing bulk products. Easy enough , somewhat enjoyable, often educational .”

“I visited the store after spotting it from across the street. Mya (I hope that's how she spells her name) was a very welcoming gem. I came in to see if she had a menthol oil for congestion which they did. She also gave me free tea to try. It’s your typical GNC, but the gentleman and his family who own and run this store are extremely professional, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. “What an amazing location. Just your regular Whole Foods. Lots of great selections and choices.
Need a quick place to eat a bite before a show? Great seating area upstairs/escalator. Deli is great. Pizza by slice. Or whole pizza. Great salads. We had chicken (little dry but good temperature) cooked green beans. Great flavor. Steamed broccoli. Great. And a large liter sparkling water All this for $10. Amazing. Also had Ckn and artichoke piece of pizza. Delicious. Could have been a little hotter. Piece of pizza is like $3.95.
Close to all the theatres. We also bought flowers and a card for a friend who is starring in Alicia Keys Hell’s Kitchen production. Great price compared to CVS down the block.”
