I really want to give this branch a negative 5 rating after my encounters here! I've visited this branch several times regarding some issues I've had only to have received NO help. I spoke with a teller who wasn't able to help, however he tried getting a representative at the branch help me in which the teller was told to send me to the manager Jevin, who was absolutely no no help at all. This was my second time meeting with Kevin and I had the same out come as the first, being misguided, mislead and given a print out to basically do an investigation myself, oh and he also stated I should call the number on the back of my card as he was unable to help, I've expressed that when I call the back of the card I barely ever get a rep from USA and he said "when it's night here it's daytime in the Philippines. This is why we're transferred over seas, but oh, we are all trained the same. " I found that statement to be not only rude but very unprofessional as I didn't mention any countries for that statement to have been made. Also, I asked Kevin to assist me with changing my card as well as changing my passwords on both visits, which again he did not help with. These visits basically have convinced me to take my banking elsewhere, Chase banking is not what it used to be years ago.

The ATM is rarely ever dispensing cash or other transactions. TERRIBLE business practice. No reason why on a friday or holiday that ANY ATM, is not working 100%. Thinking about switching to T-D.

It’s the worst customer service ever. The young lady that deals with opening bank accounts is the worst at her job.

Went to this bank to deposit rent and open a landlord tenant account when they first opened up. The lady informed me that I need a w9 form and a lease. I get the required documentation, and she then tells me they have to send the paper to corporate before they can open the account. I have 3 accounts with chase, and the run around is annoying. This was the 3rd Chase Bank I went to, and they were no help, so I just went to Wells Fargo.

What a horrible experience by an always "unavailable" Manager. There is never a good time or option to follow-up with any banking inquiries here, whether the site is empty of customers or not. In addition, the Bank Manager will turn the situation around and claim she feels "threatened" unnecessarily upon asking for her FULL name and/or business card when she refuses to service you disclosing her name to be "Stephanie". Her representation as a Manager is shameful! and it is clear this has become her common practice at this underrepresented site. This Chase branch site in Hillside should be reviewed and audited for bias practices, because it certainly is apparent.Disgusted client!

This particular Chase Branch in Hillside NJ, has a Manager on site who is never available, not welcoming, does not offer their customers an ability to inquire upon entry and is very aggressive and nasty with her approach after hiding to conceal her "availability"! "Stephanie" the Manager tells you up front, even with a visible mask on myself, "you seem sick!" and "you need to stay 6 feet away from her". Tells you she "feels threatened" after she dismisses you, and upon asking her for her name and then full name and/or business card. From the beginning, Stephanie is dismissive, despite several attempts to gain inquiry on various days over the course of a week. She makes herself as well as her accompanying staff, unavailable each time without offering another option, such as a simple appointment for your inquiry. She will ask you to leave your name and phone #, however the follow-up has not and will not occur. I found her behavior uppalling! as she attempted to reverse her aggression and play victim, stating she feels threatened unnecessarily. I find it necessary to share this scenario here in addition to calling customer service to escalate the matter as well. Her behavior as a "Manager" is shameful to the Branch and it's location that serves a majority of underserved residents. Disgusted client!

as a customer of the bank they would not as a courtesy even change $6 worth of quarters I was told I needed to fill a $10 roll with 40 quarters if I wanted to get cash. If I had $10 worth of quarters I wouldn't have asked for change for $6 lolNow that I think about it if I wanted to make a deposit of $6 in quarters that would have to be taken or would that be a requirement to have a $10 roll ? Secondly they don't answer the phone.

I went to this branch yesterday with my elderly parents, Hillside, NJ. We spoke to a guy to start with, then the manager got involved. I took them as they wanted to have a print out of their statements 5 years prior. My parents also wanted to add my sister to the account as they wanted to make sure we are protected as they are in a very advanced age. Both of my parents showed proper ID's. The guy asked for my fathers recent drivers licence. My father is 95 years old, he does not get his licence renewed anymore. The manager a tall woman got the audacity to tell me that they could not do this today, that they could not help me as they had so many appointments. We were in the office, my parents were sitting down, how dare they do that to us. Very unprofessional, I told her that I was not stupid and I felt that they probably assumed that I was there trying to screw these old people. I was never asked, for an ID to prove that I was their daughter. I have never dealt with a situation like this in any bank, they are usually very helpful and willing to help, never had I had to make an appointment to talk to them at the bank, they are all walk- ins. I will be canceling their account as soon as I have the Power of Atornney that we are working on. Idiots, there is a lot of competition out there. Will never want to deal with these incompetent individuals ever again. This was my first time going to these disgraceful place.

Worst customer service, call multiple times to make an appointment with Magali Arias, asked multiple time everything that I need in order to open my sons bank account. I had to find someone to stayed with while I went to open the account and we i get there 10 min before my appointment. She told she is running a few minutes late, 40 minutes later she seems to find out i was missing documentation that they never mentioned over the phone. So disrespectful towards people time.Never again in that branch.Saying sorry don’t give time back

Branch can be somewhat busy on the weekends and might have to wait on line. There are two ATMs, however several times that I have been there, one of them was broken.

The staff is lovely, that’s about it. There is no other reason for this branch to exist nothing ever works, all the ATMs are constantly down save yourself the wait and stress and head straight to Union.
