I suffer from seasonal allergies and I work outside therefore I need an effective allergy med on a daily basis. Allegra D 24 hour has done the trick for me for years. Here's the issue. EVERY time I go to Walgreens in hillsborough they tell me they aren't allowed to sell it to me. I realize pseudoephedrine is restricted BUT I also know for a fact I am allowed 1 pill a day to stay within the limit. Therefore when i run out, i go get more the next day. Walgreens is on my way home so of course I stop there. At least 3 times last year they refused me. Figured I'd try again today. Same deal. Go down the road to cvs and no problem. No wonder Walgreens plans to close NJ stores. Absolutely worthless.

These 5 stars are not for Hillsborough walgreens because honestly this walgreens is trash. These 5 stars are for Liv! The lovely pharm tech that went above and beyond to help me get my insurance issue fixed and get my daughters meds after 2 other employees couldn't have given two rat behinds! There are way to many humans with employment getting paid to shrug their shoulders but not Liv! Just a simple point in the right direction and touch of kindness made a world of difference. So Liv here is a big huge shout out and thank you for just being you and being great at it because of you my daughter has what she needs and I have a peace of mind ??
P.S You're still trash Walgreens of Hillsborough and your lead pharmacist seems like he reaaalllyyyy hates his job.

About two weeks ago I called to check if they had a medication I needed it. The lady over the phone told me that they did and told me to pick it up in an hour. I was over 40mins away from this location. To my surprise, when I get there and ask for my prescription, I was told it was given to someone else and that they made a mistake.
I understand mistakes happen but I called in this prescription first, keep in mind they told me it will be ready once I got there. I was very upset but remained respectful because I did not want to cause a scene. I was then told that there was no more medication on stock and they weren’t able to look for it anywhere for me.
Till this day, I still haven’t gotten my medication.

The brown women on the pharmacy check in area with the long eyebrow was very rude. She threw the receipt and prescription at me while laughing about me double-checking the pills. It's my prescription, and I have the right to check. Why are you laughing about such personal matters? You should be ashamed of your behavior. It was my first time visit and will not comback never in my entire life!

Worst customer service ever. Asked the woman behind the counter to change the card on file and she looked at me like I had two heads. Then she gave one of her colleagues a look and he started staring at me. She thanked him and he continued to stare at me throughout the transaction. It was the one of the worst/ weirdest experiences I’ve had as a customer. I will never go back to this terrible pharmacy.

I’ve never had a problem with this Walgreens and today a pharmacist went above and beyond to straighten out an insurance issue and assured I was able to have my medication.

Not sure why the reviews of this place are so low - maybe I just came in at the perfect time. The prices were great, and Nicole the cashier was super cheerful and made my day brighter. I'm guessing that more employees like her would get this store rated higher on Google. She deserves a raise!

Every time I've come for a flu shot or Covid vaccine, it's like they've never done one before. At least 6 people working behind the pharmacy counter, so it's not a staffing issue. Filled out all my forms on line prior to the visit. During checkin, the associate spent 10 minutes staring at the screen and calling other associates over to consult with her. Had to re-fill in my forms. Waited for an hour with no chairs available. Sat on the floor because it's painful to my back to stand for long periods. Only 1 person in front of me. They need to analyze why it is such a lengthy procedure. It's a 2-minute jab!

I stopped in today to pick up an online order and also to return a set of fairy lights I bought yesterday. When I asked the customer service representative if I could return them, she said they looked very used. I explained they were not very used, that they were labeled as warm white, and they are not warm white. She checked with the manager, and he said they looked used as well. Yes, they were not in the package as they were as I purchased them because I put them on a wreath and then noticed they did not match my warm white lights, then immediately removed them. The manager decided I could return them, but the whole experience was embarrassing, as the store was very busy. If either of the associates would have bothered to look at the receipt on my phone, they would have realized they were purchased yesterday. Therefore, not really sure how "used" they could appear. The customer service representative who helped me with the return, because the first associate couldn't manage to do that, was very nice. As was the woman who helped me pick up my online order in photo. I realize it's a busy time of year, and everyone is stressed, but please try and treat people with common courtesy.

So I've been trying to get my prescription for a week and their high-school kids working there are super untrained but that's just annoying. I waited 2 hours for them to fill my perception that was supposed to be filled last night and after the 2h of waiting the pharmacist who was standing there the whole time, says we don't have it. He didn't check anything. They r actually a public safety hazard

Have been trying to get my perception for a week. They said they could fill it last night I go in today, they said they can fill it in 15 mins I wait there 2 hours the pharmacist that I've seen standing there paper clipping bags for 2 hours says "we don't have it". Guess it takes him 2 hours and no looking to decide he doesn't have it. Actually a public safety hazard. In the 2 hours I was there also witness 4 out of the 10 coustmers they had have a problem with their coustmer service. We need to demand new staff for future coustmers which I won't be one of!
