Horrible set of two ladies behind the counter. Unprofessional and rude. Looks like multiple people have complained - but no one wants to make a change.
I come here and realize that I should never have taken an appointment with these people. I have done this multiple times and should now blacklist this post office.
How is there no change ???

I am writing to bring to your attention an incident of rude behavior I experienced at your post office 437 Amwell rd hillsborough, 08844 On July 30, 2024, I visited the USPS post office where I was assisted by an employee named Geeta regarding my new born baby passport . I applied with photo service. That lady directly told me that go to wallgreen or CVS for photo of my baby and come back because USPS camera is not working since two months. It is very hard for me to take my baby to stores and they all denied to take new born baby picture. I again received call from Usps ( Geeta) she talked rudely again and asking when will you come back ? Otherwise your apointment will be cancel and you should take another day.
During my visit, Geeta was exceptionally rude and unprofessional in her demeanor. This behavior is not what I expect from a representative of USPS, and it left me feeling very dissatisfied with the service.
I believe that respectful and courteous service is crucial, and this experience did not meet those standards. I hope that you can address this issue promptly to ensure that future interactions with USPS are more positive.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. This place is run by two women. One doesn’t explain anything necessary to obtain a passport even though that’s her job when you make an appointment to do so. However at least she isn’t super mean.
The other woman is the nastiest woman ever. My mother came home nearly in tears from how horrible this woman was to her. I think if you treat anyone, especially customers, as nasty as this woman treated my mom, you should be fired on the spot. It’s disgusting how people are allowed to treat others like this, for absolutely no reason. My mom was just unclear of the instructions due to her coworker not doing her job, and the woman was so unbelievably rude. I want to say that maybe she was having a bad day, but this isn’t the first time I’ve heard of/received attitude from this woman. We will never come back here, and anyone in the area should just consider going somewhere else. Horrible service. Think twice about how you treat people.

Took my family for passport. We arrived on time with my 3 young kids. No one was there to process the passport application when somebody finally arrived she told us that the camera isn’t working and we have to go somewhere else to get the picture done for the passport. We spent three hours in that filthy, Bugs infected place because nobody wanted to do the job in the right way. If the camera is not working, they should not be taking appointments. The staff is very lazy and not helpful at all. This place never been cleaned Since it was built. There are spiderwebs and dead bugs everywhere In the building and it seemed like Staff members are not bothered with it.

I’d give it a zero if I could. This place is terrible. Zero customer service oriented just terrible service. They are slow, rude and on top love to ignore the customer. Don’t go here if you have other options especially for passport services. There is no point in having an appointment they will make you wait while they do everything else they can before they attend you.

Avoid at all costs, the customer service here is nightmare fuel. Absolute disgrace to call this place a post office. The workers are rude, and have zero respect for anyone looking to mail items. USPS should be embarrassed they keep these individuals employed. This location deserves negative stars, 1/5 does not do it justice.
Had an appointment to renew my passport, arrived early to my scheduled time as the directions said to. After waiting past my scheduled time due to clear understaffing, they took my documents and then told me to drive to a cvs to get my photo taken as their camera was broken. By the time I returned back to the post office, the passport person had left for the day and I was told I had to make another appointment. Glad I burned PTO on their incompetency. Thank you for wasting my time. If you have read this far, do yourself a favor and do not even consider utilizing this USPS location!

I have lived in Hillsborough more than 18 years. The first several years my mail carrier was great,unfortunately for me he retired. For more than ten years now, I have dealt with carriers that do not know how to separate the mail properly on their route and I receive other people's mail and I have my mail returned. Also, when my mail carrier is in a bad mood she shoves my mail into the box destroying and crumbling my mail to the back of the box. This is clearly on purpose.
She is unfriendly and frankly scary. The Postmaster in Hillsborough is never available. Who hires these people? They deserve a negative 5 on the rating.

The people that work here are so miserable and unaccommodating... first, years ago I ask for help with sending a package when I just moved to the area, and the lady at the counter was unfriendly as heck. Now, today, I call the post office and ask if they can deliver a package to my house (they left a note earlier in the week saying I can request a redelivery). I live right behind the office, it could easily be done by someone who is KIND... but I was told "no, the driver can't go back in that direction today". Plus, the hours are 10-5 during the week... I work 9-5. How else am I supposed to pick up my package? Why is this so difficult???

Good service.
The delivery woman Shannon Rt 9 is very responsible in her job. She came to knock our office door and reminded us the mail box was full. Next day she sent full basket of those mails to us.

Why Bother it doesn't change anything.! Use FED-EX or UPS .Better less costly service and no rude counter help! NEGATIVE STARS!!!!
