Friendly staffs and no long line.
However, it seem like they ration the number of Fried Chicken Pieces for sell. Never seem to have any available. When there are, only one or two. Seen many other people looking for it too. Nobody want the other chicken stuffs. They probably try to cut back loss leader product in this store.
Now I usually go to Flemington or others Shoprite where they always carry some.

They changed the self checkout policy to only 20 items or less which creates long lines at normal checkout and makes my trip take twice as long as before. Completely stupid policy.

Inedible and overpriced sushi. Waste of $38.97. Does not come with soy sauce or chopsticks (would think it does with astronomical price). No discount after 8pm or whatever time like they (or other shoprites in the area) used to. Tasted fishy and was chewy. Couldn't finish. I don't post reviews, but this dissapointment and money burned compelled me to post.

Ok so there are some good things about this ShopRite and some bad things. I appreciate that this ShopRite offers boars head brand, yay thank you, but wholly hell the deli count is ridiculous. If you use the kiosk to order to you to come back and wait for someone to notice you it’s well past the time they tell you it will be done by. Yet you’ll spend another 20 minutes waiting at the deli counter then someone will start to work on your order. Or you can choose to order in person. ( I prefer). However I have walked up to the counter multiple times in which there is NO ONE ELSE WAITING. Still I am ignored until someone can break free of something else. There is no one here but ok I’ll be patient. Seems to me either way is a lose. Now I’m not blaming the employees. But management needs to address the issue. Do you need more employees in the deli department? Do you need to revisit your current system. Something is broken here.

If I could give this RACIST Shoprite a ZERO STAR I would! The white women Pam who works in customer service is an OUTRIGHT RACIST! I've been a instacart shopper in Somerset and Middlesex Counties for over FIVE YEARS and have NEVER WITNESSED such racism as I did that at this location!
To start, I was waiting in line at customer service to ask if a specific water was in stock. An older white man was standing in front of me with few groceries and asked for a bag. The bags available are currently Black History Month bags! The employee Pam INSISTED and mocked the artwork of the bag asking the customer numerous times if he's "sure he wants that bag" as she sees me and my two children standing behind him and another African American employee standing beside me! You could tell the customer was very uncomfortable as PAM changed the Black History Bag for a bag of equal currency but with a different pattern!
After the older man left the line i then waited for the African American employee to ask her question to PAM as she had a disgusting attitude with her as well!
I was then met with an interaction with Pam. I asked her if Cloud Water was in stock and with a horrible attitude she notified me there's NO WAY to look it up in the system and that an employee already asked her for this same item. I proceeded to tell her I've been an instacart contractor for over 5 years and have NEVER heard of such a thing and that I've been in many Shoprite's where you can see where the inventory is STOCKED! She then proceeded to tell me she could check regional inventory but not specifically for that store which I knew was a lie as she just didn't want to help me. She then radiod for a male employee who "works with the water" and he said the item was out of stock. She then proceeded to tell me "that's what she was trying to say the entire time". I asked to speak to the store manager and was told he had just left. I also asked to speak to the front end Manger and she said she wasn't there either.
As I walk to check out my order a very nice women opens her line and rings we out. She was also instructing other employee's on their duties. I proceeded to ask if she was the front end manager and she told me YES! I Informed her of my interaction with Pam and she instructed me to call corporate which I will be doing! She apologized but didn't seem to be surprised by the RACIST WOMAN'S PAM'S BEHAVIOR!
I'll definitely be contacting the corporate office on Monday regarding this expense!
***here's a picture of the bag she insisted the Caucasian customer NOT TO PURCHASE****
SHAME ON PAM OF Hillsborough Shoprite! She needs to be FIRED!!!

Extremely rude, condescending, militant staff person running self checkout section. Last straw for long time customer of 17+ years. Better options elsewhere

Had a horrible experience the lady with light brown hair accused me of stealing a bag earlier because she handed a bag to someone and it was left there. I showed her both of my previous receipts from earlier. That showed she scanned the the resuseable bag and i paid for them. Then she tried to backtrack.
