“American Tire is an authorized U-Haul Rental dealer. I booked a U-Haul and American Tire was the authorized pick-up location. I arrived at American Tire and the U-Haul did not start I was on the phone with U-Haul for over two hours. The U-Haul representative told me that there was no truck available and I’d have to go to another location. This was about 8 o’clock at night and thankfully the owner of American tire Donna was working late on a Friday night and seen me outside and asked if there was anything I needed help with. She immediately called her husband Chris and made him aware that of my situation the owners of American Tire made sure that I had another U-Haul right away. The customer service provided by the owners of American Tire was top-notch, even though the onus of responsibility was on U-Haul. However, American Tire assumed responsibility for U-Hauls negligence. I’m very impressed at American’s Tire level of customer service. I was impressed with the customer service of American Tire down to the cleanliness of their bathrooms. Thank-you Donna and Chris. I even recommended American Tire to my mom; a place where she can not only rent a U-Haul and get her car serviced. Donna’s customer was so outstanding I would feel completely comfortable sending my 65 year old mother there alone to get her car serviced without that uneasy feeling she is being taken advantage of.”
