Every single time I go to this Lowes in Hillsborough I get disappointed. They either don't have what I need or the associate doesn't know what they are talking about. What are you guys doing over there? Going straight to Home Depot guys. ??

Wally, in Gardening was and is always so warm and welcoming when entering, leaving, and during assistance at Lowe's. I also love his sense of humor. I love being assisted by Wally and always look forward to seeing him on my visits to Lowe's. He always makes sure I get the best deal at Lowe's for the greatest value of my money. Please let Wally know how much he is appreciated and please hold on to him!

We purchased a Maytag washing machine and had it delivered on 6/6/24. We've purchased Maytags for decades. On 6/17/24 in the evening, it broke. When we contacted Lowe's the next morning we were told that we only had 48 hours to return the appliance and that had we used their credit card we would have had 30 days. They did nothing to help resolve the issue and sent us to Maytag, who was also not helpful and told us it would take a month to get the parts. No more Lowe's purchases for us. No more Maytag purchases either. You're on your own with Lowe's once they have your money.

Not happy with Lowe’s once again. Ask three different associates where an item is and get three different answers. Went to get brad nails and you would think it would be in hardware where the nails are. Wrong, they’re down with the brad nail guns. I guess having all the nails in one aisle titled hardware just doesn’t make sense. Does this mean if I want regular nails I have to go to where the hammers are? And if I want screws I have to go to where the screw guns are? And if I want caulk I have to go to where the caulk guns are? Seriously doesn’t anybody have common sense anymore? Went to Home Depot and was very pleased. Nails are together in the hardware aisle where common sense says it should be. Thank you Home Depot for not wasting my time like Lowe’s does!!

Mik, in windows and doors, was wonderful!
Big box home improvement stores are all the same, it’s the employees who make the difference. Mik was incredibly helpful and actually cared to give us good information. He spent plenty of time with us and even researched the answers to any of questions that he couldn’t answer off the top of his head.
We went ahead and purchased the door to fit our needs. He helped us load up the cart and checked us out right in the department.
If you’re in need of window/door info, go ask for Mik :)

The assistant I met in the plumbing area was very knowledgeable. I would have had leaking pipes without his direction of what I needed to cap off the water line to the dishwasher under the sink. Don't use caps if they don't have a gasket. Use another valve they have compression fittings.

Leave it to lower to fire a veteran after speaking to managers about moving to a different department. I am almost 60 years old and when I took the job they asked me if I could lift 50lbs. I can do that no problem what they didn't mention is I would be doing it for 8 hours a day bringing mulch to peoples car. They had multiple kids under the age of 25 not doing their job and even not doing the physical labor aspect of the job. I was outworking and picking up their slack while management did nothing. Saturday I was told I would be put in a different department and I come in today to say there is nothing for me to do and was terminated. I am disappointed in management and Lowes itself for allowing this to happen I would give zero stars if I could.
