Although my senior cat was only a patient there for a relatively brief time, they were wonderful to him, and me. We had an emergency, and they took us right in as soon as they opened. I definitely recommend them, and I'll be back with my next pet, guaranteed.

The reviews don’t lie. We’ve been coming here with our puppy for 2 yrs. Love the staff but epically Hailey and Kelly who take amazing care of our Lady! When we say their names our pup is excited to get in the car! Great vet!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. I’ve brought several family pets there over the years my first cat, my dog, even sugar gliders, and now they take the BEST care of my two cats who mean the world to me. I have gone through the experience of losing a pet with their help and I will never forget the kindness and thoughtfulness they showed. They have been consistent in their top quality care for decades. I’m constantly blown away by the level of client service they provide and everyone is incredibly knowledgeable. Every person in this building knows animals and loves them and it shows. The front desk staff is absolutely incredible, and the vets will always put the well-being of your pet first. They will never suggest something costly or potentially stressful for a pet that’s not 100% necessary. They’re always willing to listen to your concerns and make suggestions. I wish I could name everyone but I can say from recent experiences Alison and Amber at the front desk, Dr. Steven’s, Dr. Breuning have been just so wonderful to speak with and work with on our pets health. Just wow. We love BMAH so much.

I’m very disappointed that I was not made aware of paying up front FULL price for my German Shepards surgery which I have pet insurance to cover the costs. You made me give her unnecessary sedation medication. This seems to be their practice of treating me like I have unlimited amount of time and money to spend at their will, taking advantage of pet owners

The staff, doctors, and assistance, are simply knowledgeable, friendly, and expeditious. I feel very comfortable, bringing our pets there, and from small pets, from rats to guinea pigs, and now to cats, they have taken care of our little buddies with Care, LOVE, and professionalism.

So far I have only used Dr. Somjen for Physical Therapy for my GSD. He has come so much farther in pain reduction and use than I anticipated. He loves going for his sessions and particularly loves Dr. Somjen's assistant Debbie.

I often bring feral cats in to the Bell Mead Animal Hospital for TNR and other treatment. The staff has been very kind and extremely helpful. I usually have many questions and the amount of patience the staff has is incredible. My cats are always given excellent care. Everyone there deserves praise but the kindness of Joan (no longer there) and Dr. Rockhill is especially appreciated.

Today I brought in another feral. The problem was lack of appetite. I was able to get a same day appointment which is usually not offered by other animal hospitals. However, even if I had to wait for an appointment I would always prefer BMAH despite a 3 hour round trip drive to get there and back. The service at BMAH from the office staff to the vet techs to the veterinarians is second to none. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The vets listen carefully to my recitation of clinical symptoms I observed and come up with a game plan that is always in my pet’s best interests.
One reason BMAH has such a great reputation among pet owners and rescue groups is that the staff is hand picked by Dr.Joseph Martins who owns the practice.
I don’t want to slight any of the vets by mentioning names but one of the vets is a former staff member the North Star Animal Hospital which from my personal experience is the best 24/7 emergency and specialty animal hospital in NJ. Another vet, in fact, the one who treated my cat today started as a vet tech at BMAH and due to his skill and knowledge was offered a position as a vet after after he had earned his vet certification.
In short, if you are in need of compassionate medical care for your pet, you can not do any better than BMAH.

Dr. Martins has been caring for my cats since 2004. He is incredibly caring and always knows what issue is. Completely explains things and answers all questions. No better vet in the area.

Belle Meade Animal Hospital is truly the best vet I've ever been to. The quality of care they give each and every one of their patients is not only unsurpassed, but genuine. The staff is friendly, patient, and understanding and Dr. Blanco in particular is incredible. Should any issues arise they have excellent availability for existing patients and they have helped me as well as my furry companions, Miles, Lucas, and Leia tremendously. I cannot say enough to express my gratitude and recommend their services enough!

Dr. Staiger is a wonderful doctor! He did a neuter and laparoscopic gastropexy on my Great Dane which healed perfectly. He had wonderful calming energy with my anxious dog. Couldn’t recommend him enough!!
