This is a gem of a pet store that defies the “big box” chain stores. Loved the personal attention and their mission to rescue/rehome animals. They had many cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, and birds while we were there for rehoming. If you are looking for a new pet- would highly recommend! We will keep supporting them w our purchases.

Amwell Pet Supply store is an excellent store and the staff are all top Knotch. They were all so very kind. I contacted Hope (who is a rescue volunteer) concerning finding a new home for my aunt's Cockertiel. Hope was extremely helpful. She agreed to take my aunt's Cockertiel and find him a new home. This made the entire process less stressful for my aunt who is elderly. It gave my aunt a piece of mind knowing that Joseph is in great hands.

Cute store but very cluttered and has rabbits and Guinea pigs all over the store on the floor… with very narrow hallways… had to immediately leave with my Shepard as all the small animals were cowering and my dog was going nuts. Literally every corner is so tight and there was a rabbit or hamster at every turn. Kind of probably shouldn’t let dogs in there. Other than that it’s cute but again I see more for small animals rather than dogs or cats and they don’t have a big selection of really anything at all and did not carry my dogs food brand

Hope went out of her way to secure hard to find “Kitty Kubed” boxes that our bunnies love to sleep in and now has a limited quantity of them available for sale in her store. Her shop is very well stocked with all the supplies necessary for any pet including high quality food, treats and toys. She is deeply committed to small animal rescue and has numerous pets on site available for adoption. Stop in for a visit.

This is a great place and very knowledgeable. They have so many things and are able to help point you in the right direction....as well as give great advice. They also do animal rescue and do it purely because they love animals....great place to go!

Hope is extremely knowledgeable on all animals in her store. I came in today to rehome my bunny due to allergies and she explained the entire adopting process to me and how my bunny would thrive in her store. I highly recommend this pet shop to any person looking to adopt a pet because all the animals are loved and well taken care of.

I have purchased my dog's food here for years and the service and people are wonderful!! Recently I could not find my credit card after I left and went back but not there. The owner was MAGNIFICENT taking the time to trace my steps asking me to search my pockets, going to my car to search for it, reminding me to stay calm and asking me to check my wallet again which I did and found in a space I never before filed it!!! I always realized she was a Wonderful person and she is so much more than that!!! Dan R

Never going to a big box store again. Hope helped save my guinea pigs life,I was in desperate need of some herbivore critical care and it's something most pet stores don't really stock, a 6 hour search around the state luckily lead me to hope who gave me some of her own supply, showed me how to administer it, and told me "don't stop fighting". Since then, I've been back for some supplies and their prices are unbeatable, I'll never go anywhere else, and I'm getting anyone I know who has a pet to come here.

Just discovered this store recently due to a cat adoption and the staff is great, knowledgeable, honest, have great food and toys, and taking great care of the adoption animals.
