Affiliated Electronics is fantastic! I can recommend to all! Boris is honest, very knowledgeable, fast, professional and does great work. He fixed my Samsung TV when Samsung refused to fix. I called, Boris came within 24 hours, quickly diagnosed, found the part, and installed within a few days. This is the place, Boris is the guy! I will use them again for my electronics. Very impressed!

Boris is a nice guy who appreciates vintage audio.I brought him two dead units; a Marantz 2225, and a Sansui TU9900.He fixed them both, now working 100%.Turn around was two weeks. Price I thought was quite reasonable.Very happy with the service here!

I visted Affilaited Electronics Back in 2010. When my dad was starting up our first home theater system. He took his Adcom amp to Boris for repair. Prices are reasonable and when he owned the amp it worked great. I now have different equitment but I will always remember my first home theater system.

SAID HE FIXED MY AMP BUT HE DIDENT ,I MARKED EACH COMPONENT INSIDE THE AMP, HE SAID HE PUT A NEW POWER TRANSFORMER IN, I ASKED THE SAME DAY FOR THE OLD PART AND HE SAID HE THREW IT OUT. GOT HOME AND TOOK COVER OFF AND THE MARK ON THE TRANSFORMER WAS THERE ,SO NO PART WAS CHANGED AND HE REALLY WANTED CASH AND GAVE ME A BIG SAVINGS FOR CASH. SO IM SCREWED , "NEVER PAY IN CASH" NOT WORTH IT

I brought my 44 year-old McIntosh receiver to Affiliated after receiving a recommendation from their factory service department in Binghamton (Yes, an American made stereo!) as the right channel had quit working. I spoke with the owner, Boris, for several minutes about his experience with this company's products. He endured my questions with professionalism and good humor. Turns out he performs a fair amount of warranty service for several brands. I was given a fair estimate and promised a call in a few days. Four days later Boris called to say that he had diagnosed the problem, explained what it needed, and said he would have it ready in a day. It was completed seven days after it was dropped off, working fine and ready for the next 44 years. Bottom line, if you have a good piece of equipment that is worth repairing, this is the place to take it.

The owner was very rude. His compatriot Ilona has the personality of a block of wood. Prices are way too expensive compared to others. They frequently return "repaired" items that were clearly never repaired. Avoid at all costs
