Asked for $20 regular, instead, my tank was filled, which cost nearly twice that much. Something like that could cause an overdraft.

Scammers! Told me we didn’t have a regular gas we only have a premium even though they had a regular gas! Don’t go here!

Yesterday, I went there to refill the gas, there is two different ( card and Cash) prices for gas, and I asked why there is two different prices list? The Employee who has long beard (Indian , Punjabi) he got angry with me, and he shouted and used very bad words in his language .

Dorjee! SAVED US! We had no fuel! He was just leaving the store to go home. However he stopped what he was doing and came back and re-open the store to allow us to purchase fuel God bless!!

If you're a woman DON'T go here. It's a complete waste of time. The old fart doesn't like or respect women. He will and has, completely ignored me while he watched his TV. I go ANY where else.

This is a Conoco station now, connected to John's Auto Repair Shop. I didn't have any problem with service, however, my husband paid with a credit card. A nice Sikh man quickly pumped our gas. I find people of this religion to be very kind. I think it has something to do with the tenants of their faith.

Excellent service, friendly, knowledgeable staff. I don't feel looked down on because i'm a woman either. I've met John in person, he's so kind and helpful, i feel he respects his customers and his staff. I won't take my car anywhere else for tire service or oil changes.

I got blinded by reviews and they are walkable distance from my place. I took my car for AC repair and regular service. He never picked my call first day for and picked my phone at the end of day mentioning that he can't finish it. I got a quote of $1500 for the AC compressor only change, spark plug change and regular oil change. I called morning and not to do the work but he told his guys worked in night and finished half of the job and he can't help it now and I have to pay now everything. I was fine till now even it took 2 days and double the price to fix my car, but when I got the car next time and drove bad noise coming from car and it takes lot of time to accelerate my car with bad noise. I thought it's only with me but one of college also said he had similar issue and now after double the price his car does not start in first attempt. Not sure how he got so many good review but definitely not a good place to take your car.

Had my front brakes and rotors done while I waited within 2 hrs. After I've taken it to Mavis days before who had my car for 3 hours and completed nothing, after the 4th hour I just told them to do my oil change and I would be picking up my car which I did and thankfully so. Read John's reviews and went early as he advised thru yelp communication, was charged considerably less than was quoted at the other shop even though I purchased my own brakes from outside.

This is the only stop for you and your car if you live in the EW / Hightstown area. Interesting how one of the negative reviewers of John's ONLY has 1 star reviews. Another reviewer came in and said 'fix XYZ because another mechanic said that was the problem' and then was upset when there was another issue. That last negative review...brought their own parts? Never going to get the story 100% when you bring your own parts. John's is trustworthy, thorough, very fair and honest. And if the years in business and the flow of traffic in and out aren't enough good evidence - stop in and meet the manager Craig. You know you're getting real mechanics and not oil change dudes pressed into auto detective work...
