Clean, quiet, friendly and reasonably priced. I drove a half hour on a clear highway to get to Joseph Varo's and I'll be happy to do it again. I got a great haircut in a wonderful little barber/style shop.

Do not go to this place if you are a man. I was going to get my haircut from another place but it was closed, so I decided to come down here right before I got into work. She said she had 34 years of a experience, and I asked her I wanted a classic look, some thing business like. Once she started it looked alright but then I added that I always part my hair one way and she said " uh hu, okay" and she kept talking about the weather and other things. She didn't part my hair one way, and ended up shaving more than the average amount. Didn't even asked how I wanted my sideburns. At the end it was a disaster. She even said, " well next time bring a picture so I can copy it, and well, we'll we have to wait till it grows back". I thought to myself... 34 Years... more like 34 minutes Don't Go Here.!!!!

ONLY GIVING ONE STAR BECAUSE I CANT GIVE ZERO !!!! I went into this barber shop looking for someone to cut my two sons hair and I was told they don’t do ‘black’ hair, which is fine, but as I was walking away I heard “our clippers don’t cut through that type of hair” she never even asked to see my sons hair or nothing. I am severely disgusted and disturbed. For starters clippers cut through all types of hair , our, African American, hair is not a heavy duty nappy mess, it’s texturized NOT ROUGH ! . If y’all are not trained to cut African American Hair then just say that. By insulting our hair you’re implying that you just refuse to cut out hair . You’re terrible & need to self reflect.

Fantastic group of stylists! I found a salon that great for men. I had a long time over due manscape! They are taking all precautions to make sure everyone is safe during this pandemic. Dolly made me feel like she was cutting my hair for years.

Dolly and her crew are fantastic hairstylists. I've been a customer since 2004 and my boys have been customers since they were toddlers. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

I've been using Joseph Varo Hairstylists for more than 40 years. They do a great job but more than that, the familiar faces are an absolute pleasure to see. This is my hometown barber and I'll always use them. I can certainly recommend them.
