I just walked out after a wonderful experience with Deanna. I had a bad experience with a salon a few years ago that badly damaged my hair and have been self conscious of it since. She had such a nice, gentle hand, and I can't remember the last time my hair was this soft. I really look forward to seeing her again for my next appointment. Thanks!!

Have been seeing Kristina at Loft Salon in Highland Park for about a year now - highly recommend! After moving to New Jersey a few years ago it took ages to find the right person to cut my hair. A coworker referred me to The Loft after a stylist at another salon gave me an absolutely atrocious cut, and Kristina was my savior. My hair does some wonky things and she's terrific with managing it, she's patient, and she has a good eye for what will or not work for me. Everyone at The Loft is friendly, they're efficient and on time, parking is easy, products are great, pricing is standard for the area, and they will take excellent care of your hair!

Just left my first appointment at the salon and will certainly be back! The whole experience was very pleasant. The woman who washed and conditioned my hair explained what she was doing and which products she was using. Caitlyn listened to what I wanted haircut-wise and did not disappoint. Overall the salon had great vibes! I will certainly be back.

I started going to The Loft over a year ago. I was thrilled. Kristina went out of her way to make me feel comfortable. I went back several times. I even had color for the first time. And I wrote a raving review. All was well until a few weeks ago when I left a request to schedule hair cut and color for this Friday. When Kristina phoned me back late on a Saturday, I was on the street in Jersey City with my daughter and it was very noisy and I should not have answered the phone. Initially I couldn't hear anything and I didn't know who was on the other end of the phone. After a few seconds struggling to hear, I said I couldn't hear and would call them back. With that I hung up. I left another request for an appointment. Days later but no one phoned me. I called and spoke to Anne Marie who told me that they had no appointments for this week or next. It didn't ring true and I asked Anne Marie if they didn't want my business and even reminded her I just sent three people to the salon. She said "Well, you hung up on Kristina". I explained what happened and I apologized for my unintended offense. The day after I spoke with Anne Marie, I left a voicemail apologizing again and saying that I would never want to offend Kristina or anyone and apologized for what was clearly an unintended slight. I have heard nothing. Strange way to run a business and in this age of cell phone calls being dropped, to have jumped to some large conclusion without first knowing what happened is odd. It's disappointing.
