Was 9pm tonight and a staff member on duty was trying to rush me out of the facility, saying they were closed, despite their listed closing time on the door being 11pm. Staff member rudely pressed the start button on my dryer as I was putting quarters in, and she's quoted as saying - "You need to come earlier." Confronted associate about the official closing time on the door, but they persisted in broken english that they were closed - again, her words didn't match the hours that were listed on the door. I was drying my clothes two hours before the official closing time but she kept giving me a hard time. I have come here several times in the past, but after the rudeness and impatience from this particular slow staff member, I definitely won't be coming back. Many other laundromats in the area I will definitely be checking out as an alternative. Management needs to have a talk with staff, because it seems like the evening staff is trying to take advantage - by closing earlier than what is set in the books.

The wash and fold is run by kind people who do a good job of washing and folding at a reasonable price, and they said they were willing to use my special unscented laundry soap I'm not allergic to. I've used the service twice now, the first time my sheets came out unscented but my other load smelled like there had been scented stuff left in the machine. Not having my own washer and dryer, I've experienced this often doing laundry on my own (I bring a roll of paper towels when I do my own laundry and clean out the dispenser area to get as much scent as I can out, but sometimes it's impossible to get it all) and it was problematic for my allergies, but understandable, it happens. It was clear, though, that time they had actually used my laundry soap (I can feel the difference), and I was grateful for the service. This week I went back to try the wash and fold, I'd asked if they could make sure the machine was clean so it was really unscented. I'm dealing with an autoimmune flare, and really need to be careful. She showed me how clean the machines are (and they are, definitely better than most!) but that they couldn't guarantee anything. I explained I didn't need a guarantee, just that I'd appreciate it if they'd really try because I'm allergic. She told me I shouldn't be using public machines, and she's not wrong, but I don't have a washer and dryer where I live and really have no alternative.I picked up my items (all my pajamas, all my washcloths, favorite pillowcases, and all my favorite clothes), and was utterly dismayed that the laundry came out smelling like their regular wash and fold soap. The stains didn't come out of my jumpsuit either (my soap gets stains out REALLY well) and now that it's been in the dryer the stain is set. Everything has that "fresh laundry" scent, which I'm allergic to. I don't have the energy or the money to rewash everything in my Defunkify 3-4 times to get the scent out, and that's hard.It IS a great laundromat for doing it yourself, and a great wash and fold service if you like their scented laundry soap. I definitely do not recommend it, though, if you have allergies to their soap. It IS incredibly difficult to find a service that'll even agree to use your own soap, and it was kind they offered to. I don't think they did this time, though, and it's really caused a problem for me.I'm giving them 5 stars anyway because it's otherwise a great laundromat. They even have a bathroom!

Clean facility but I really don't appreciate predatory behavior especially against Spanish people (which is your clientele) why is it your ATM only allows $20 withdrawals at a time ? Because the company you allowed to put the ATM in does this to charge us a $3 fee everytime, you pay for hot water and nothing comes out smh . Poor business practices . I hope highland park looks into this . Also you'd need a 4x4 laundry cart to get thru the uneven slabs of cement smh

This used to be my favorite laundromat. I travel about 45 minutes to an hour (depending on traffic) to wash my clothes here. It's near my daughter and the gym, the place is usually very clean, the bathroom is decent, and the prices are reasonable. Some dryers are hotter than others, but you learn which ones to use and which ones to avoid.Normally I would have rated this facility between 4 & 5 stars; however today I found myself greatly disappointed. I had about 4 or 5 items that were caked in dry mud. I brushed off as much as I could outside and then I went inside to use the utility sink to try and scrub the rest off before washing in the machine. I normally don't come during the week, but I had been traveling, was sick, and then worked long hours immediately after. So I didn't have the opportunity to tend to these items at home. When I went to use the sink, I was told it wasn't allowed. I explained that I just had a few muddy items that I wanted to wash out before putting them in the machine. I was told that I should have done that at home.I didn't argue with the woman although I'm sure she could tell I was aggravated. I could see it if she asked me to make sure to clean up behind myself so the sink would be clean for the next customer and she doesn't know that I'm a regular; however I have never, in 57 years, ever been told that a sink in a laundromat couldn't be used. Maybe this is not a big deal to others, but it upset me enough to rethink where I'll take my business in the future.

It's nothing fancy, the machines work well. Wash is pricier than necessary, but drying is cheap. The biggest problem is that it's hours are incorrect and have been a while, and even within it's own schedule they sometimes close at differing hours, but that change is never posted except (sometimes) on the front door. And when they've changed the hours on their whim they'll be pushy to get you out.

Been using this place for about a year now i would say. My apartment has a laundry facility but the machine ruins my clothes and they never come out right. I was a bit bummed I had to go out of my way to go to a laundromat but I'm SO happy I found Waynes Wash World. Amazing customer service. Big place with plenty of machines and it almost has an atmosphere where its fun to wash your own clothes there lol. They have a parking lot in the back which is amazing and I've honestly never had a problem finding a spot. I got addicted to their wash and fold service. Absolutely amazing and not a bad experience yet! And so INEXPENSIVE EVERYTHING! Everything is perfectly folded clean and looking and smelling good! Would recommend to everyone. Love them!

You can tell a lot about a business by how they handle a crisis. Their wash and fold service refused a nurse's clothes even after reassuring them that the clothes had been sealed for long enough and sprayed with disinfectant. We found exceptional service at another local business. Check my reviews for details.Response:Or that they follow safety guidelines while supporting their frontline workers.

This is a nice laundromat, it’s very clean and machines are always Clean and in good conditions . Costumer service so far been good ,since I been going to this laundromat . However the lady who was taking care of it today ( first time I saw her ) had a bad attitude , I simply went to ask for her assistance since the Washer was not functioning and her face expression was like if I was bordering her She had no manner to talk back . It’s a nice place and would be sad that for workers like her a customer decides not to make use of it . Customer service is very important!.

Nice and clean place with a good amount of washers of different sizes and prices and dryers to speed up your chore . Good location, easy to get to by public transportation (NJT 810). Parking in rear of the store.

This is a very clean and nicely run laundromat and I am going to miss it. The only downside to it, which is a game changer for me, is the television, it's on constantly and is very loud so there's no escaping it. To make it worse, Fox news is the station of choice. So long Wayne's World.UPDATE - Thank you for your response, I didn't know it was an option to make changes to the tv. I've changed my review to reflect the cleanliness and I have returned to using your facility. Thank you for changing to News 12 and lowering the volume.
