Krauszers is a store in Highland Park that offers a little of everything and is considered the best store in town. It is a small family business with a friendly owner and excellent service. The deli is a great spot for lunch and breakfast, with excellent and reasonably priced food made fresh while you wait. Their coffee is very good, using fresh ground beans for every pot, including a smooth and robust medium roast. The staff is diligent about cleaning and maintaining the coffee equipment. The people that work there treat you like family and are very nice, even when dealing with rude customers. The place is clean, with a spotless kitchen area in full view and a clean restroom. While the store doesn’t look like much from the outside or inside, it has a huge coffee business. Most customers get their food to go. The only minor note is that the cashier sometimes gets wound up dealing with customers and the lottery machine, but it is not a big deal.
This is the best store to purchase from. They have a little of EVERYTHING, and everyone is so nice in this store. I've been a resident of Highland Park my whole life and this is the best store in town.
