If there were no star, I’ll give them that,. DO NOT go there. These people lie and cheat. They will lie about repairs they did not perform. In addition they will mess with your car to assure themselves some work ( because they have virtually no customers due to their business practices). They messed with the coolant system to make me replace the thermostat.. "Dennis" broke a hubcap in two, when he removed it and claimed it was already broken. When I confronted him about it, he verbally attacked me. He got so aggressive (as a typical liar would), I thought he was going to strike me, so much so, his wife run into the room. They are the worst. If you value your peace of mind and are looking for someone to do good, honest work, DO NOT GO THERE!!!

On 15th September I went to that mechanic to change oil .I told him next day morning i will drive from New Jersey to Los Angeles. After couple hundred mil, when i stopped in gas station i felt smoke coming under hood. It was oil leaking. I paid another 90 $ for change oil on road .I was lucky because i saw it on time. It could be dangerous accident if i did not felt it on time. Engine could stuck with out oil. Now i will add pictures look the pictures ,.I never ever in my life saw that kind of mechanic , that Asian man left bolt lose when he changed my oil under car and oil start leaking . Dont trust this guy.Service: Oil change

I’m a local highland park resident, I use to always bring my cars to Dennis. I was thinking of selling my car, so I brought my car here for inspection because my breaks were squeezing and engine was leaking. I was told to leave the car over night. The next day in the afternoon I was called and quoted the price to repair the car, around $2500, so I declined and went to go pick up the car. When I went to pick the car up, I was charged $517 dollars just so Dennis could look at the car. If he would’ve let me know upfront that he was going to charge $500 to look at the car and not even fix anything I would’ve left and said no thank you. I don’t recommend this shop for anyone, go to your vehicle dealer instead and don’t get ripped off.

Thieves. They tried to charged me $250 but after the police came it went down to $179. It was absolutely for nothing. They didn’t even let me know until the end. We ended up calling the police but I had to pay it because he claimed it was for labor

These people are very good at what they do. First of all, they are very friendly and knowledgable on cars. The Mechanic (Dennis--> I think) was able to check and told me exactly what was wrong with my car. Before, he even start working on the car, he called me and informed me about the price and the amount of time it would take for the car to be ready (which many mechanics don't do) precisely. They fixed my car which still doesn't give me the problem anymore and he notified me of other drastic future problems within an accurate period of time if I don't do certain minor things. Overall, Kam Soon auto service is one of the best shop in the area. They saved me some money from paying a high tax by having me paying by cash and my car is running really good with over 200, 000 miles on it. thank you Kam for your hard work.

Worst experience with car grages ever. He was unclear about the details of charges and lied to me on at least one item. My EGR valve needed to be cleaned and I knew that well. He said it may need to get replaced and listed me a price for replacing it. In the end, I was right and he did not need to replace it. However, I still need to pay that charge because he said it is labor cost. Lots of other similar items ... Two small problems (EGR + Knock sensor) costed me $900 in CASH. Yes, he only takes cash and he did not tell me that until the last moment.

The work this garage does is not bad...the mechanic seems knowledgeable, but the ethics are absolutely TERRIBLE. My mom took her car to get work done, and they did work on one of the parts when it was never authorized! They had left messages saying that the water pump had to be fixed but never did they leave a price. When my mom called back they claimed they already fixed it and charged her and extra $500, but NEVER did she authorize for the work to begin! He offered to even "buy" the car for 1000 when she said that charge was more than what she was told it would be. WHO DOES THAT?????? (By the way, Kelly Blue Book listed her car as at least 4000), When asked about it (and just to tell him to next time let us know the price), he became belligerent and told us to get out of his store, and said he'd "never work on your dirty car. Get out". I don't doubt the actual work that was done, but ethics and manners are things I take very seriously. You don't just do work on a car when it was not even authorized by the customer, just because you "claim it's my duty to fix the car". My mom is a very sweet woman and he obviously targeted her to get some extra money. All we can do now is to spread the word and make sure this place never gets business from anyone again.
