They have zero shipping supplies, the guy working the counter is miserable and makes 0 attempt to help. Also when it’s 10 minutes til closing he hides in the back and then says we’re closing soon once you say something. 0/5 if possible

Claims they attempted delivery when they left the notice in the mailbox. They did not even attempt to, extremely lazy. I have cameras- driver never came up to the door nor even came into the driveway. Right before a snowstorm where I may not be capable of driving to the post office.. like really? Horrible services at this office.
This same carrier previously stole a gift card straight out of our mail. Informed delivery showed it was arriving and it never did, but the rest of the mail did. This guy should be fired.

This office shouldn't exist. An absolutely rude and unprofessional worker Kayla told us we shouldn't bother when we were getting our sons passport renewed. She complained we were 15 minutes EARLY (No one except her and her co worker were present). Then she inquired to the date of our trip, when my husband stated it was the end of June she berated us and said the passport wouldn't come in time.When I said that maybe we should go to the NYC office to expedite she claimed that wouldn't work either. When I tried to take pictures of the documents she started yelling at us...they were our documents. Furthermore, when we got passports renewed here before they TOLD us to take pictures of everything. Good thing the conversation was taped since I walked in the post office door. Complete "jobsworth" and the office and individuals working there would rather tell you how they can't help you rather than doing absolutely anything. Kayla might need some help.

If I could give a -0 x 1000 to our postman I would - he is horrible - retire already if you don't want the job!!! stuffs the mail box so that you can't get the mail out - hangs packages from the flag - which is now breaking - folds documents (my daughters diploma) that clearly said do not fold! Throws packages in the drive way for delivery so you drive over them because they are behind the cars - leaves packages in the rain with no cover instead of the deck under cover - literally had amazon deliver the same rainy day and their packages were under the cover on the deck - USPS thrown in the driveway getting rained on - and when you complain to the post master - it gets worse - this guy needs to retire or be removed from delivering!!!!!!! I can't do this at my job - why are they allowed to!

DO NOT GET YOUR PASSPORT PHOTOS HERE! I wish I had read Lev Savranskiy’s one-star review below before entrusting this post office with my family’s passport photos. Our photos were also all rejected by the National Passport Center, and when I returned to the post office with the rejection letters, the employee gave me attitude and said that her photos were fine and that it was the National Passport Center that was in error. She then said that they couldn’t retake the photos because they were out of photo paper, so she had been telling people to go to the Ringwood post office or Walgreens.

Always a polite a helpful staff member at the desk when you need them. Sometimes they even have my package ready before i come to pick it up, as i use a P.O. box.

Cannot thank the employees here enough. Today I went to get a package UPS delivered late and handed it off to USPS and I really needed it for Thanksgiving tomorrow and the post office worker was kind enough to find it for me. They also gave me a textbook a few years ago when I was in college that I missed the delivery and it was after 5pm - I would’ve failed my exam if I didn’t get that book. Thank you sweet angels of Hewitt post office, you have really made some very stressful moments all better.

please be aware - this location makes incorrect passport photos.my visit was at January 22, 9:45they taken mine photos for an additional $15.clerk asked if i like photos, i said idk, it is your job to validate.she did not make any processing, background removal etc.after 2 weeks i gotten a message from National Passport Center:Thank you for your recent passport application.The photograph you submitted cannot be used because your image appears either underexposedor overexposed and your facial features cannot be clearly identified.----i had to retake pictures at Walgreens while on vacation and pay again for delivery. Walgreens photo process taken 10 minutes, person deleted background and it looked a lot better.So think twice before making passport picture there

This is by far the worst possible post office in the area. The lady that works the counter here is absolutely miserable and if you come early enough in the day, she'll make sure your day will be as well!! If you are lucky enough to get the guy that works here at least you'll get a smile or a chuckle. Hewitt Post Office is so local to me, I've been a customer for almost a decade but while I like my driver, I will be going to west Milford from now on. I'm sorry that WE MAKE YOU do your jobs. IF you are so MISERABLE, please find another career option. Today was just the last straw with this place!
